Love The Skirt, Not The Waistband

I really love this skirt but don't understand the purpose of the extended jersey fabric that is to fold over the skirt. It would be much better without that extra 5 inch band of fabric that just adds bulk. That being said, it is fun, flirty and flattering. It does run a full size, if not two sizes, big.

Good for dancing

This skirt has proved very good for walking and dancing, in warm and cool weather -- and no slip needed! Very comfortable and keeps its shape, and looks much better than the illustration in the catelog. The funny flap at the waistline appears to be a facing, and fits well when folded to the inside.

Not what I expected

I had to send the skirt back. I was looking for a shorter version. Also, the material was very soft. I felt uncomfortable in it.

The pockets along the seam distort the shape

I really, really wanted to love this skirt because the style and knit type is perfect for travel. But, I had to give it one star because of the way the pockets are sewn into the side seams. The bottom of the pocket zipper juts out like those shoulder bumps you get from hangers. It completely distorts the shape of the skirt making it completely unflattering. I will be returning it.
