Magellan's RFID Travel Wallet

I like the fact most of all that I know my information is being protected! But also, I was surprised at all the little dividers and 3 zippered areas. I went from a heavier and a bit bigger wallet without too much transitioning. I really like the wrist strap for when I run into a store and that it is shiny and pretty. The one outside zippered pocket is not big enough for my iPhone5', but it does fit nicely inside!

This wallet is not just for travel; I am continuing to use it now with my RFID Day Pack for my everyday use because so convenient for my 62 year old needs! It is very versatile for sure! At times, I just walk with it around my neck/side or toss it in my companion RFID day pack. It has lots of room for stuffing everything! In addition to normal features, I put my chap stick; readers, a tissue or two, and even my iPhone. I have told several friends about it who plan to give as Christmas gifts. I was very happy I purchased this item!

I have used this as my purse every day for over a year. Ample space for credit cards, cash, stamps, chapstick, etc. Dividers make it easy to stay organized. Only criticisms: One outside pocket is too small to be of any use. And the wallet is starting to show some wear: a small hole has developed and the strap is started to pull apart from the purse. But this wallet has worked so well for me I will not hesitate to purchase another!

I love this wallet. I bought it for a recent trip out of the country, mainly for passport and credit card protection. I like to travel light, so I used it solo at night, in lieu of a handbag. I bought it in black, and will be back to get it in red. It holds all necessary documentation, has places for credit cards, an ID pocket and 2 zippered pockets. There is a pocket to stash bills, unfolded, which is great, and it holds my iPhone and lip balm. It is not dressy enough for more formal events, hence the 4-star review, but works well the rest of the time.

I really liked the wallet. It is dressy enough to use as a clutch purse and roomy enough to hold my glasses along with money, credit cards and keys. I used the wallet on my trip to Russia. It held up well and kept everything organized. I liked that there was a slot for my passport and 2 types of money as well as a coin purse.

I would have liked to replace my regular daily wallet with this ID protected one, but found it a bit small. Zipper on main compartment is a couple inches too short for full access.

I asked for this wallet as a Christmas gift for trips we had planned for New Orleans and then to Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. I love it so much I use it all the time. It holds my money, foreign currency, passport, cellphone ( have a small flip phone) and it's lightweight. When I don't want to carry a big purse, this on the shoulder strap is perfect. When this one wears out...and that's not happening yet...I'll order another one. It's great for travel and for here at home.

The wallet has worked very well. It is not big enough for a lot of extra items, but holds all of my cards, drivers license etc. as well as money, passport etc. I'm not sure it will fit the tickets for ocverseas, but everything else seems to work well. It serves the purpose I wanted very well, and the wrist loop has held up well.

The RFID travel wallet is well-organized and structured inside, excellent quality, small and lightweight -- a dream to carry. I've been lookiing for a shoulder wallet like this for years. After trying it out, I decided to use the one I ordered for travel as an everyday bag, and ordered a second one to have on hand for my trips. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I really like that this wallet holds everything; I mean everything that I need, including cell phone, and checks. Its light weight, attractive, easy to locate within the cavernous confines of my very large handbag. At times I simply carry it as a clutch and have tired it as a stand alone purse; it works well for both purposes. And...I love the purple color and am thinking of getting it in red.

I am generally pleased with the wallet. However, the clip has broken on the strap so I can no longer use the long strip

Got this wallet for RFID feature + option to use as wallet that tucks into my travel bag or alone as a small purse (wristlet or crossbody strap adds the versatility.) Has become my favorite since it holds lot yet still looks compact. Only misgiving initially was the fabric appearance but it has held up well with use. Worthwhile buy exceeded my expectations.

I'm very pleased with the look, feel and organization this wallet offers. i ordered the eggplant color and love it. Also, I think the security feature is a bonus (although i'm not sure how to confirm it is working). I was looking for something I could pull out of the purse and use stand-alone at times and this works perfectly.

Nice size, color (red)--love the fact it can be worn across the body or carried as a clutch, but it is waaaaaaaaay overpriced. Even with the security feature, it is still nylon, and still snatchable, if someone cuts the strap. I would never pay more than $24 for one of these again.

This wallet is awesome. It has plenty of pockets to hold everything you want. I an even slip a small lipstick in one of the pockets. It has a strap so I an wear it on my arm or remove the strap and carry it in my purse. I love it!!!

I'm genuinely disappointed with this wallet. The fabric is shiny and cheap looking, the design is thick and bulky, it's got too many buckles and zips, and there are too many bits and corners that stick out. It won't fit in my pocket or in my small travel purse, and I can't imagine it will work well for travel. Plus, although it comes with a strap you can (allegedly) use to convert the "wallet" into an odd sort of cross over bag, both the strap and the catches that attach the strap to the wallet are so flimsy that they'll let go of the bag in an instant. So, basically, it looks like you either carry this around in your hand, or in a purse or other large bag. Kind of what I was hoping to avoid when I bought the dang thing. It'll hold my passport, sure, but I've seen better products that do everything this wallet does without all the bulk and sheen. I'm seriously thinking of sending it back.

I just got my RFID travel wallet and couldn't wait for a trip to try it. I started using it for all my "very basic purse necessities" and carrying it in a larger "tote" bag for work. It's so handy to grab and go for lunch or shopping etc... roomy enough for my Iphone and reading glasses, keys, money, credit cards, lipstick and tissues. The RFID works well so it should be secure for traveling - my office key won't beep from inside and neither will my car's "smart" key. Luckily it's not too cumbersome to hang my keys on the outside. I would recommend this item and think it will be great for traveling.

This wallet has proved to be such a treat that I may. It beagle to go back to my old one when I return home.

wish it had been made in leather....cell phone pocket too small for smart phone with a protective cover on it.....otherwise using the wallet

i love the color i chose (eggplant) and all the slots/pockets inside and the different lengths of straps included. i especially like the security compartment where i keep my credit cards safe (rfid). my only complaint would the difficulty using the two out pockets - they're both very "tight" to fit in anything useful, including paper. ps it's my only wallet, not just for travel!

fits a lot of cards. looks great. my daughter wants one to go out with as a purse. Love the extra wrist and shoulder straps. Easy access

This is perfect for fitting all of my essentials from cash, passport, iPhone, and checkbook all in one bag. I love the different straps and have taken it everywhere from casual beach parties to professional dinners. It can be used as a wallet or a stand alone purse. The only issue that I have had is that I cannot figure out how to clean it without it showing water spots. Otherwise, it is perfect!

Bought this for a trip overseas. I liked the RFID shielding, and the ability to use it as a purse, wristlets or a waist pack. It worked great on the trip. I carried our passports inside, my iPhone in one of the outside pockets, and lipstick, etc, in the opposite pocket. I'm home now and haven't gone back to my old purse. All the functions that made this purse so good overseas, make it great for everyday!

This is a nice wallet, but I had hoped it would hold a little more than it does. Also, my phone will not fit in the side pocket designed for cell phones. If you don't carry a lot, this will work well for you.

The wallet is the perfect size for traveling and use while shopping locally. It is just what I wanted for safeguarding my credit cards and personal information. I have a passport holder to protect the chip in my passport but it did not hold all of my id's and credit card. The passport holder was closed by a metal snap but it has broken. The wallet has two external zippered pockets and a central zippered closure for a roomy compartment. I needed additional room and protection. This size is perfect for taking on international trips..

I bought this wallet as a gift for my sister after seeing it in the Sky Mall catalog. While the size and functionality is perfect, the first thing that threw me off was the warning label that comes with the product - that it contains known carcinogens that have been acknowledged by the state of CA (and someplace else, can't remember). Secondly, it looks like a cheap nylon dollar store item... it didn't look the same in person as it did online and in the catalog. I understand that it has the RFID security feature, but it looks cheap. With all of that in mind I sent it back. :-(

What a perfect little wallet! Well, not actually little...it holds quite a lot. I had originally gotten the black one to use as a purse to use on board a cruise, hoping the RFID blocking would also keep the cabin card key from getting erased by being too close to my camera (it worked!). I was able to keep my phone in one outside pocket, my camera in the other, lipstick and other little essentials inside the wallet itself. I liked it so much that I ordered the red one for everyday use as my wallet. Haven't used the straps yet on the red one, but I know they will be very handy when I only need to take my wallet with me.

I wish more manufacturers would make wallets in leather for dressier occasions. This one is nice, functional, but looks too casual.

I'm using this for everyday use and it is working great! It is easy to organize items, especially during the busy Christmas season.

I love this wallet and feel much safer carrying my credit cards. I also keep my passport and money in the wallet. It is compact and efficient and organized. I would, however, have liked more credit card slots. Otherwise it is a great product and I would purchase it again and recommend it to family and friends.

This wallet is perfect for travel! Not only is the security feature a great asset, but it has just the right compartments for receipts, cash, credit cards, change, phone, and lipstick. It is versatile in that it can be carried as a clutch or used with the wrist or shoulder strap. Very happy that I bought it!

I was initially very pleased with the look, size and versatility of the wallet, but on the first day of our trip, while wearing it as a shoulder bag, the strap broke. I sewed the strap in place, but on the second day of the trip, the strap broke again. I also must take issue with your claim that the wallet will protect the passport from theft. As you go through security and customs you must remove your passport from the wallet and open it, thus leaving it exposed. A "book cover" type protector would seem to make much more sense when travelling abroad.

I like the clutch wallet because it is lightweight and easy to carry. I wish it expanded a little more. I find it difficult to carry multiple currencies in the pockets.

Wallet has room for cell phone in side, plus a few cosmetics....good for using as a small purse.

I like the wallet alot and often carry it by itself. Otherwise, it is easy to find in my purse. Like the ability to have the shoulder strap in addition to the wrist strap. Is PERFECT for travel.

This is the perfect size travel wallet - and I use it every day. It fits right inside my bigger purse and is so handy to pull out if I don't want to carry the big one around. It's perfect to sort the paper money, has an easy to access coin purse, a place for credit cards, room enough for keys and lipstick, a separate place for receipts. It just makes my life easier and more organized.

Without a doubt this is the most functional item you could ever buy, and I have bought many. I absolutely love this and am even considering ordering it in another color. I use it as a wallet and I use it as a small purse with the shoulder strap. It is wonderful. Very handy when taking my Grandsons to school or running small errands and not wanting to drag a purse along. Highly recommend this.

I did not think I would ever change my leather wallet...I love it. But I wanted the RFID feature, so ordered this one in the red. It has room for everything...even my cell phone and reading glasses when I just need to carry the wallet. The inside organization fits everything...I just put the change in with the bills in one of the bigger sections and it works fine. I use it every day. The fabric is soft, and the extended zipper allows the wallet to open wide for easy access. The best RFID wallet I've seen.

I found this wallet so easy. Normally, I carry my backback and worry but with this little wallet, I just use the long strap across my chest and hike, sight-see, and dine with all my essentials with me. OK. It could use a place for lip gloss but everything else I need for a day outing is there!

the wallet is a nice size to get all my important Ida and cards, but I also need to carry an international driver permit and that does not fit in this wallet. Otherwise it is really everything I need for overseas travel.

I absolutely loved this wallet on my recent trip to Europe. Fit the credit cards and ATM cards I needed on the trip with room for two currencies. Loved the three different places to put coins. I carried it in my tote bag as a wallet during the day, but put the strap on and wore it as a purse in the evening. Was able to put reading glasses and chapstick in it when I used it as a purse. I recommend this highly!

This wallet had plenty of room for my necessary travel documents, cards, cash etc. The RFID security factor was great. The only thing I would do to improve this wallet is to make the shoulder and wrist straps cut-proof.

Love the organizer slots for credit cards and the many zippered pockets which can keep change, passport, keys, cash, etc. each in their own spot and still have room for a mobile phone. The materials and construction remind me very much of Baggallini products, and the red is a nice, true color. I prefer the more roomy Everyday Bag style, but wanted the rfid protection.

As close to perfect as you can get. Quality fabric that is lightweight and minimizes bulk.Lots of pockets but not too many so it is versatile.Compact shoulder strap adds to that versatility.Essentials are all in one unit within purse and you can quickly hook on strap when just those essentials are what you need to take.

I hate carrying a purse. But pockets don't always work. This little "wallet" is so perfect, especially since it will also store my glasses, which I need on grocery shopping days. It's light weight, well organized, and comfortable to wear cross-shoulder. But it will also do double duty as a nice little dressy bag for dinner when you remove the long strap and add the short one. I bought the red a while ago.. Now I'm going to get the black as well.

I received this wallet in time to try it on a trip to Hawaii. It had plenty of room for important items (cash-not folded, ID, credit cards, pen, coins), as well as extras (chapstick, breath mints, pocket tissues, eye glass cleaning cloth, hand sanitizer, small notebook, small medicine container, hair bands, etc.). And of course, it provided peace of mind by protecting my personal information. I wore it across the body most of the time (very lightweight!), and changed to the wrist strap for the Luau (looked very nice!). I liked it so much, I tried it back home to see if I could make do with fewer items. My cell phone and ipod both fit; sadly, I like to have too many things handy when I'm at home for this to work as my everyday purse. However, I may still use it as a secure wallet inside a larger purse when I'm not travelling. When I travel, I will be using this purse! One note: the belt loop snap could be more snug. Everything else seems quite sturdy, and I did put it through its paces.

I love that this wallet is very light in weight which makes a big difference when lugging around a purse or tote that includes heavy items. The interior and exterior are both well-organized with just the right pockets. I know it will enable me to quickly find what I need on trips. I plan to put it inside a tote or purse on most trips, but it will also be handy to use alone when I don't need to carry much with me. The Rfid protection will add additional security while I travel. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I used this wallet on a trip to Eastern Europe and loved it! I came home and threw away my old wallet. It may not display credit cards in an open, easy manner but I felt they were well protected (4 slots/4 or 5 to a slot). It held 2 passports, has a driver's license window, several places for American money and Euros and change. I could fit my Canon Sureshot in the outside pocket and still had room for my lipstick and small mirror. I like the exchangeable straps, too. I felt it was dressy enough for night time and the fabric is washable and durable. I also used the Metro Safe 200 purse and this fit nicely inside for longer day trips. Lastly, it came in so handy hanging on my walking golf cart that my partner was going to order one.

I really like the idea of an RFID protected wallet. There must have been improvements since I ordered mine in May, because mine doesn't have a pen holder nor can it be worn on my belt. It certainly packs my essentials, and the outside pockets are just big enough to hold an iPhone or Droid X.

I really like the versatility of this travel wallet. When not using this for travel, I use it as my daily purse. The RFID feature seems to work well. With other purses I use to keep my work ID card in their exterior pocket and just hold the purse up to the scanner to pass through my work's turnstile gates. Using this RFID shielded wallet when I had placed my work ID in one of the two EXTERIOR pockets I always have to physically remove my ID card to successfully scan it. Thumbs up on that part, RFID feature works. The only two slight inconveniences with this wallet is the zippers are a tad sticky, particularly the zipper on one of the two exterior pockets (it just won't close all the way). Even when all contents of the wallet were removed to factor out any bulge or obstructive items, I am only able to zipper that pocket half way. Secondly, considering that this is a wallet which can be worn across the hip, I love that this option is available but I'm not so sure I'll actually use this feature very often. Reason being that the ridged outline of this wallet, which gives it a nice structure, unfortunately makes it slightly too bulky to be worn around the hips (in my opinion). If the outline/skeleton of this wallet was somehow softer thus allowing it to kind of conform to one's body as oppose to protruding out as it does I would have given it a higher rating. This was something I didn't foresee since I couldn't "try on" this item prior to purchasing it online.

It's lightweight and small but not too small. Enough room for credit cards, driver's license, cash and other things you'd have in your wallet plus I can put my glasses inside without them being crushed. Can sling it over your shoulder or carry it. I'm very please with it. And I like the fact that my radio frequency credit card info is protected.
