plugs for Africa

Worked fine

Worked great - know your adapter vs. converter

People we traveled with were confused about the difference between adapters and converters - my advice is to take both. All the B&Bs and hotels where we stayed had hair dryers so that wasn't an issue, but we did need the adapter/converter to charge cameras, phones, etc.
