This adapter worked great with the dual voltage power strip. And, it was cheaper than some of the adapters in the stores in the area.

must have for South Africa and beyond

If you are in a remote hunting camp in the bush in Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, etc, you may also need this adapter if the outfitter is from South Africa. Most of the outfitters buy their camp equipment there.

A must for South Africa

If you are going to South Africa for a hunting safari or for a simple tour, you NEED one of these plugs. The plugs with the power converters kits will NOT work. I charged my I-Pod Touch, Kindle and cell phone directly from the wall at my hunting camp. Do NOT trust what they tell you at those Mall Travel stores. You need this plug for South Africa.
