- Description

A great alarm for those who prefer "hands" on their clocks. With luminous hands plus dial light, snooze feature (five minutes between alarms), and an alarm that gets more "insistent" (tempo and sound level). Couldn't be easier to set the time or alarm, and it's one of our loudest alarms (58-74 dB). Requires one AA Battery (not included). (2 ½ X 2 ½ X 1"; 2 oz.)
Gift Bag
You can have your order wrapped in a reusable dark gray gift bag, tied with a ribbon. $6.00 each gift bag. Select the "Gift Bag" option during checkout.

Unreliable
By Janet Willis, FL in November, 2012 -
The first clock I received did not keep time. It lost 15 minutes in about 4 hours. (Yes, there was a new battery in it.) I called Magellan and they sent a replacement in a few days, along with a return mailing envelope for the defective clock. The second clock keeps good time, but the alarm is not precise, it varies by 5-10 minutes. Most of the time this is adequate so I am keeping this clock. It is a nice size for traveling. I could not ask for better service than Magellan provided.

Great Clock
By David B., Deckerville, MI in October, 2012 -
Kept good time, loved the light button to check time. Easy to set up and use. Compact size.
-
A terrific little clock
By Mariella L., Champaign, IL in September, 2012 -
After a multitude of years and some abuse, my first one died, and I am immediately ordering another: the alarm is loud and gets louder, which is perfect for me. The back cover tends to fall off easily if you bang it around, but I need this clock! The first one survived many, many transatlantic flights and travel jaunts. A great buy!

Worry Free
By Cathy B., Linden, VA in August, 2012 -
I've had one of these little gems for about 10 years. While at a recent meeting, one of my co-workers remarked how much she's always liked it and that she is going to get one for herself. I surprised her as a thank you.

Mini-Time Alarm Clock
By Evelyn T., Honolulu, HI in July, 2012 -
Second best alarm clock I've owned. I had my first best for years and it finally died on me. I've bought so many others since then with very loud ticking. I finally found this very quiet alarm clock. I am glad I purchased two, one for travel and one for my bedroom .
-
Too inaccurate for travel alarm
By joyce s., New York City, NY in June, 2012 -
This clock is too inaccurate to use as a travel alarm. If you set it using the black marks between numerals (for the minutes) there is no telling when the clock will go off because the time between interval for minutes isn't consistent at all. You would expect each mark to be about 12 minutes but they can from 3 minutes to 8 or 10 or more.

You Won't Wake Up
By Lynn N., Boston, MA in April, 2012 -
Was looking for a simple clock that didn't require taking it apart to change time every time I changed time zones. This is it, except, the sound is too faint. Too bad.
-
excellent product
By Anonymous, new york, NY in April, 2012 -
I was delighted with the clock and for the price an excellent buy. It works well and is easy to handle.
-
Easy to read
By Judy E., Kaunakakai, HI in March, 2012 -
This clock is easy to read. The time and alarm is easy to set. It is compact enough to fit in my cosmetic bag.
-
Perfect
By Adeline O., McLean, VA in March, 2012 -
Just what we wanted. It is light, easy to adjust times and set alarm, takes only one battery, light ticking noise, noticeable but not obnoxius alarm. Bought two - one for home, one for travel.
-
A Great Clock
By Lisa T., Toronto, Ontario, Canada, ON in March, 2012 -
What's not to like about this clock: it has a large easy-to-read dial, it's easy to change the time (no need for complicated sequences of button-pressing such as on digital clocks), and it is small and packable. It is now my go-to travel clock. I have one in my office (surreptitiously tucked behind a pencil holder so I can see the time without obviously craning my neck when a long-winded person has corralled me) and one in my travel kit.

Training Alarm Clocks- Visible Across the Room- Small and portab
By Andrea H., Nashville, TN in March, 2012 -
I needed a few small clocks to put around the room when I'm conducting a training class so I can stay on time. These are unobtrusive and the teams can use them to make sure their training exercises finish on time. Bonus is I can use the alarms at night and not worry about the hotel's faulty wake up call system!

Great little travel clock
By kathleen C., OR in February, 2012 -
Very easy to set the alarm, very easy to read the clock face. Alarm sound is quite adequate. Small and light weight. Should be a good traveler. We use it daily at home.

Mini-Time Alarm Clock
By Janet W., Somerset, NJ in February, 2012 -
The clock is junk. Can't open the bottom to insert batteries.
-
travel clock
By Chris M., Modesto, CA in February, 2012 -
This is a small easy to read travel alarm clock. Easy to set and not complicated at all. I hate all the new self setting other clocks. It does have a ticking sound so if this bothers you, it would not be your clock.
-
travel alarm clock
By M. S. A., San Antonio, TX in February, 2012 -
The description said this travel alarm clock has a very loud alarm. Not so! I would return it if I still had the box. It does keep accurate time.
-
Not luminous
By Carol L., Bourne, MA in February, 2012 -
Bought this a few years ago as both my husband and I like to have a clock when travelling. It is a great compact little clock but it is not luminous. The only way that I can tell what time it is during the night is to press the light button
-
Low tech alarm
By Karenb A., North Vancouver, BC in January, 2012 -
I bought this for my husband who wanted a simple no instruction travel alarm clock and didn't want to put his glasses on to set it at night. This fits the bill exactly and I would have given it 5 stars except that the plastic to the battery compartment was welded shut or likely never cut all the way through on the assembly line. It doesn't come with a battery and I nearly broke my fingers trying to get it open. My husband tried also, but gave up and finally, after I found a razor thin knife was able to cut through the welded plastic and the cover popped off. The clock works fine, however, It is unfortunate that we scratched the clock performing surgery to remove the battery cover. We had the option to return it, but what a hassle returning items from Canada and my husband wanted to start using it.
-
Fabulous little clock
By Teresa M., Coopersville, MI in December, 2011 -
I have had ths clock for years - it doesn't have a loud ticking noise that drives you crazy at night , the alarm is plenty loud enough and best of all it is something my grandchildren absolutely have to pick up and carry around the house when they come to visit.
-
endable companion
By B H., Savannah, GA in November, 2011 -
I have traveled for years with this little, easily read alarm. After 15 years it is time for a new one. Mine finally gave out. The alarm is loud enough to wake me---a comfort if I wasn't sure I was going to wake easily.
-
Perfect Easy-to-Set Dependable!
By Elaine A., wappingers Falls, NY in October, 2011 -
There is an immediate gratification to setting this clockand relaxing, knowing it is done correctly! Digital clocksfrustrate me, requiring 30 clicks just to get the country timezone, let alone the time. I have carried this to Iceland, Europe, Belize and more. Best little workhorse!
-
The best little clock
By Maureen L T., KY in September, 2011 -
I love it and am just ordering another one, b/c I left it in a motel room. Inexpensive, easy, small, no digitals (I hate digital clocks).

Great !
By Anonymous, Grand Rapids, MI in August, 2011 -
I had this clock for many years and left it in some hotel room. I had to have another one. This is it, my new clock will travel with me for a long time. It's the best clock to have one you can for sure count on.

The alarm works great but I cannot see the time in the dark.
-
Just the right size!
By Roberta S., Albuquerque, NM in May, 2011 -
My husband had this clock years ago and it had a hard fall and cracked. We've been looking for another one like it and just happened across it in the catalog. He loves the small size and the luminated hands. He has it on this nightstand and we take it when we travel too.
-
Versatility in a small package!
By Pam B., Lincoln, NE in May, 2011 -
This wonderful little alarm clock is easy to read and even offers a snooze feature. It's a perfect alarm clock in a small package. I use it everyday.
-
Great little clock.
By Kathy H., Whitby, ON in March, 2011 -
Love this clock. It is very clear and lights up in the dark with a push of a button. The alarm is loud enough. I just love it and it is just the right size.
-
Great size
By Sandy C., San Diego, CA in March, 2011 -
I ordered this clock to replace one just like it that I had used for years as a travel clock. The case finally broke after years of trips in a suitcase. Now I use this one at home in the bathroom just to have a clock that doesn't take up any room at all. Plus it helps me get to work on time! It is just what I wanted.
-
Simple and dependable.
By Makio N., Fort Worth, TX in March, 2011 -
I bought this clock many years ago for my mother. She loved it and always kept it by her bed and traveling. When she moved back to her old country Japan last year because of her old age (96 years old.) She lost her clock and none of the replacement have not satified her. So she call me in U.S and ask the same clock. Simple and old fashioned like my mother it is dependable and easy to use. Thank you for kept this clock on your catalog.
-
Love this little clock
By Di S., Simsbury, CT in January, 2011 -
This will be our third little alarm clock. The first one wore out and now we are buying a 3rd one, so we can keep one for bedroom and one for traveling. We call it the "peeper" since that's how it sounds when the alarms goes off...not too annoying. Please, Magellan, don't ever discontinue this clock!
-
Love this little alarm clock
By Peggy S., Chagrin Falls, OH in December, 2010 -
My husband and I own several of these little alarm clocks - one to keep in the suitcase, one by each side of our bed. This clock is easy to set and read, a great size for travel, and has an alarm sound that's loud enough without being annoying.
-
Simple is best!
By Pat C., TX in November, 2010 -
We've been looking for a small, simple clock for a long time. My wife had a small one like this that she's used at home for over a decade and when it finally died, after being dropped too many times, we thought it would be hard to replace. All the digital travel clocks have too many buttons and dials and too many "features". This clock is perfect! Easy to set and use and is the right size to travel with if you want. We bought 2 this time, so we'll have a spare.
-
Best Little Clock!
By Carol A., Tulsa, OK in November, 2010 -
My second Mini-Time Travel Alarm Clock. My first in 2002 became my personal alarm after we returned from Paris. The lovely way it gently wakes you is wonderful. And the dial being dark unless you push the button to see the clock in the middle of the night is wonderful. I wore the first one out. And was truly frustrated while I waited for the 2nd one to arrive in the mail. Now I wake gently each morning and can push the snooze. I always take this clock when I travel. Best little clock.
-
Great little travel clock
By Roger U., Torrance, CA in July, 2010 -
This is the third travel clock I've tried recently. The first one talked which was annoying. The second one had an alarm so faint it could hardly be heard. This one works great. We just took it on a trip to Montreal and it performed as expected. I highly recommend this.

travel clock
By Corey M., MINOT, ND in July, 2010 -
I've needed a small and dependable clock to take with me on my diving vacations.
-
Love this clock!
By Lois T., Westminster, MD in July, 2010 -
Accidentally dropped my original clock and was forced to replace it. Use it all the time, not just when traveling, which we usually do a lot. With family coming for a visit and always wanting to use my little travel alarm, I decided to order three more to have an extra or two available. Just wish one thing. My original clock came with a case for travel -- the new ones came without any case.
-
A great little clock with a small problem
By Daphne S., Macon, GA in July, 2010 -
This is a great little clock--easy to set and to read with a corner touch light to illuminate when needed. The only problem is that the knob that sets the alarm came off and so the alarm can no longer be set. To be fair, this clock has known some extensive traveling, and at this price I'll probably order another one. But what a pain for such a minor mechanism to cause such a failure in function!
-
A little gem
By Anonymous, Glasgow, MT in June, 2010 -
This alarm is tiny, handsome, and silent. Just what I wanted. Will be a much-used companion, at home or for travel.
-
Mini-Time Travel Alarm
By Wade I., Alexandria, VA in June, 2010 -
Pros: battery size, alarm volume, ease of operation. Cons: a tad thick, but not unmanageable to pack.
-
Great little clock
By Marianne D., MD in June, 2010 -
We recommend this clock with only reservation: Make sure you're not tired when you set it! If you are, you might set it for the wrong time (not hard to do) and panic in the morning. If we had it to do again, however, we'd buy this same clock again.
-
Tic toc
By Mary O., Glendale, CA in June, 2010 -
Great product...keeps accurate time, it is quiet....we use it at home and for travel...reasonably priced.
-
Eh, it's okay...
By Veronica T., MA in May, 2010 -
Was looking for an alarm clock that wasn't bright at night and chimed rather than beeped. Okay, got both of those things, but turns out the ticking keeps me up.

Time Flies
By Teri T., Camas, WA in March, 2010 -
This is a great travel clock. It takes up very little space and is easy to see. It uses a regular AA battery so you don't have to look for a special number or code.
-
Travel Alarm Clock
By Elys M., Charltotte, NC in February, 2010 -
I found it to be exactly what I needed. I has a great size, light weight and easy to use. I wanted something functional and easy to use. No need for high tech. Great product at a great price
-
great little travel companion
By Lucie G., Ann Arbor, MI in February, 2010 -
This little clock weighs almost nothing to tote along. I was on a tour that took us to seven different hotels; they all varied in their services for wake-up calls, etc. This clock was our mainstay for assuring that we'd meet every deadline (and, of course, available meal!). I highly recommend it.
-

Great clock, to bad it was cracked
By Robert B., CT in December, 2009 -
This is our second mini travel clock. The first one was wonderful, but we lost it traveling after many years. We also like it because the light switch is noiseless, so nobody gets disturbed in the middle of the night. Unfortunately our new one arrived with a crack in the face. Still 5 stars.
-
About as basic as it gets
By Gerry M., Waterloo, ON in December, 2009 -
My wife wanted a basic alarm clock, one that does not require a manual to figure out how to set the time, time zone, alarm time, etc., and which does two things - tells time, and wakes you up. This is it! One minor quibble - there are two setting "knobs" for the time and the alarm time. The centre one sets the alarm, one offset to the side sets the time. This feels counter-intuitive; one usually ends up using the wrong knob at first, but of course this is quickly noticed and easily corrected.
-
Mini Time Travel Alarm Clock.. the best!

Simple, Solid. No Fuss
By Ryan B., IL in August, 2009 -
Why get a complicated device to wake you up in the morning? Small, light, easy to use. Quiet (but not silent) ticking alarm clock. Easy to know you have set the alarm since the top alarm button is pulled up and you see a yellow mark. Very pleased with it for the past weeks. Hoping to get many many years of use out of it.
-
Good size for travel
By Raymond A., Fountain Valley, CA in July, 2009 -
good size , keeps accurate time, but alarm needs to be louder
-
Great For Travelling
By John S., Kailua Kona, HI in June, 2009 -
This clock took the place of my "very old" (28 years) Timex cube clock. This one works great as the volume of the alarm is nice and loud and changes if you don't turn it off. My only complaint; It could have a louder alarm like my old Timex, but this will do nicely!
-
Indispensable Clock
By Patricia H., Tishomingo, OK in June, 2009 -
It is very small so it fits in any bag, weighs nothing even when the battery is installed and takes up such a small area on the miniscule nightstands. Just perfect!
-
Quiet Awakening
By Barbara F., CA in June, 2009 -
If you don't like to be startled when you are awakened, this little clock will serve you well. The longer you take to wake up, the more it builds in volume. Since I awaken without much nagging, I found it to be just right. It takes a tiny space in your luggage, and it completes its assignment. You can't set an exact time, like 3:15, but you can adjust it to meet your needs. When I am not on the move, I use it on the weekends so I don't have to reset my regular alarm.
-
Best travel alarm clock ever!
By Martha W., Valparaiso, IN in April, 2009 -
Small, reliable, the perfect ascending alarm, and an easy night light as well. I've used these to travel over 4 continents and 20 years. Love it and you will, too. The small square size is very stable on the nightstand which is another real plus!

It is light in weight, easy to use dials and not expensive
-
Second Time Around
By Irene F., Penticton, BC in March, 2009 -
This is my second Mini Alarm. My husband bought the first one many years ago, and it saw travels to the Bahamas, Hawaii, Mexico and Europe. When he passed away I continued to use it on my trips. However the back plate would no longer stay on and the battery kept falling out, so I retired it and bought this one. It is much lighter than the old one, so is perfect for backpacking. I have not used it on a trip as yet, but use it at home, where the soft, gentle alarm wakes me in the morning.
-
Magellans: a remarkable resource
By Lindy A., port hadlock, WA in February, 2009 -
I have ordered on numerous occasions from Magellan, security passport holder, small travel clocks, and other things. Their products and service stand are fantastic. I keep their site bookmarked, and recommend the site to anyone and everyone who might be considering travel purchaess.
-
Good Analog Clock
By Louise M., WA in February, 2009 -
I love the crescendo alarm--it actually get louder, and it is in a hertz range that my husband can hear. He has selective hearing loss due to past military service. He travels a lot; but he also uses it as his regular alarm clock at home. There is the problem--it ticks. I can't sleep in a room with a clock that ticks. I plan to try another model. Snooze button should be on top--too easy to turn off and go back to sleep.
-
Great little clock!

This item was just what I was looking for, and just as you described it. Thank you.

Mini Travel Alarm
By Anonymous, Kennett Square, PA in February, 2009 -
I like the size, weight, price and readability of the face of this little travel clock. I'm still not sure whether or not the alarm will always wake me up. I don't think it rings louder and louder if you don't turn it off right away. I think it just rings faster and faster.
-
Almost the best
By Anonymous, CA in January, 2009 -
This is the second time that I have ordered this product. The only reason I ordered this again is, after a few years, the back cover fell off. My husband purchased a similar product in France about 5 years ago. What I prefer to the higher priced French version is simply the addition of a snooze button. These are used on a daily basis, not just for vacations. You can not beat the compact size and light weight.
-
Best clock--mine lasted 12 years all over the world many times.
By David D., Santa Monica, CA in December, 2008 -
My Mini-Time just broke (only the alarm function broke--the clock works) after 12 years of hard, almost everyday usage all over the world in all kinds of conditions. It is the best travel clock for the following reasons: 1. Loud alarm. I need that. 2. Takes one AAA battery, easy to replace, available all over the world, lasts 1 to 2 years. 3. Durable. 4. Easy to set and insure that it is set right. 5. Has a light button for night. 6. Has a snooze button 7. Very lightweight. 8. Easy to read.
-
Perfect travel clock
By Sonia K., Columbus, OH in November, 2008 -
My clock worked perfectly and reliably, and is light and easily packable. I give it top marks, and was sorry to read that some others had "lemons." Hope the mfg. can improve quality control on this item.
