socks cause blisters
By Phebe Cramer, Williamstown, MA in November, 2012
These socks are easy to get on and off. How ever, the nature of the stitching for the toe section resulted in blisters on both of my big toes, after wearing them all day and walking. The blisters were bad and took some time to heal.
best thing for long flights
By Morris S., Hesperus, CO in October, 2012
This is a re-order to add to the collection for wearing on long flights. They work. help keep the swelling in my ankles from forming.

the compression of these socks suit me to a tee. Not to much, they do not leave pressure marks as some do. cost about a third of similar brands. Great value!!

These socks are so much easier to get on than socks I have purchased elsewhere and they still do what they are intended to do!

Does the job well
By Cathy H., IL in April, 2011
My husband wore these for the first time on a 14 hour plane flight. He was so pleased with the comfort and help in minimizing swelling that he is now wearing them whenever he is on his feet for an extended time.
Good Investment

The socks were great 32 hours of flying with lay overs to South Africa. I knew they made a differnce when I forgot to put them on for the 37 hours home ..if you buy them don't forget to ware them. You will know the differnce.
Mans leg pain
By Gail H., FL in August, 2010
My husband is a college professor and on his feet for numerous hours. He needed something more than the basic sock....he was in pain. Support hose much too heavy and strong. These are "perfect" to get the job done. He's feeling much less discomfort in his legs and less tired. So we're very pleased with the socks and would recommend them highly.
Compression Sox Review
By Steven K., Old Bridge, NJ in August, 2010
The sox are very nice. Good fit and plenty of support. I stand on my job almost 8 hours 3 days a week and I feel better wearing the compression sox
Not just for travel.
By Ralph L., Bath, ME in July, 2010
I have diabetes and a problem with swollen ankles and legs. The compression socks prescribed cost a fortune, These socks have the same compression specifications, are very comfortable and last longer. I ordered more so there are always available in the sock drawer.
pleasantly surprised
By bryan b., PA in June, 2010
I bought these basically because I travel a lot and my doctor was nagging me to buy some travel sox. So I grumblingly put a pair on for a recent flight and was VERY suprised at the difference I felt. Bottom line si that I have now purchased additional pairs for regular use--I'm on my feet a great deal of each day. I also like the price--I know firends who have spent up to four times the cost of these!! Good value
30 hours back from Turkey
By Larry G., Vail, CO in June, 2010
These are the best of the support socks I''ve tried yet, but still they aren't ideal. With a size 12 ft. and large calves, but only 5 ft. 10 in. tall they bind a bit too tight behind my knee and form a bit of a tourniquet at both my knee and ankle. But they are better than all the others I've tried.
Pure comfort.........
By Howard M., Centreville, MD in October, 2009
Over the past year I've had vein restoration work done on both my legs. At the conclusion of each treatment/procedure my legs were wrapped in bandages, with instructions to exchange the bandages with compression socks after 24 hours. It was also suggested that I might want to consider wearing compression socks frequently, especially when I was expecting a prolonged period of standing/inactivity. I have purchased three pairs of your support socks for this very purpose and they are great.
comfortable.

Light and comfortable
By Tom D., Monument, CO in March, 2009
Most travel socks are heavy gauge. Not so with Magellan's support socks. They are light weight and extremely comfortable with very good graduated compression for a non-fitted sock.
Support socks work great!
By Steve N., Anchorage, AK in February, 2009
Flying usually ends up aggravating my heart condition and I get lots of edema around my ankles. I received these socks in time for our trip to Vegas last weekend and wore them both directions. They worked great - no edema. I plan to order the other kind with graduated support to see if they may actually work even better, but these did the job.
Good product
By Robert C., Damascus, MD in January, 2009
Works every bit as well as the more expensive versions but a lot cheaper. My concerns were the size. If you are in the middle, I suggest going up one size and get a firmer setting.
