Magellan's Luxe Lumbar Cushion

Excellent product, but limited longevity. I use it driving and on airplanes, and it is critical to lower back comfort. BUT, the air-holding capacity of the cushion is unreliable. I buy two and keep one in reserve. Expensive to get one for the price of two.

Read that others had problems with the valve but decided to purchase anyway. Bad decision--valve broke on the 3rd use, right before several flights and 2 weeks on a bus! I'm petite and careful, and the pillow was comfy--twice! My Eagle Creek neck pillow with the same type of valve has lasted for years so I was really surprised and very disappointed.

I first used the lumbar cushion on the flights for a trip last December. It was terrific and I liked that it folded into its own small bag which didn't take up much space in my tote. Unfortunately, on my next trip, the valve came apart -- separated completely from its housing -- making the cushion useless. I would give it 5 stars for comfort, but a life of one trip negates that!

The pillow was great ...until it collapsed! I have had it about 8 weeks and loved it. Alas, it sprung a leak. Should it have lasted longer than 8 weeks? Replacing it every eight weeks can add up. Can't afford to do that.

The lumbar cushion was very easy to inflate, and adjust to be just right based on the seat's configuration. It deflates easily too. A keeper!

When I received the lumbar cushion, I wondered if such a small item would actually help relieve my back pain. But I used it on 2 flights from Florida to Paris (over 11 hours in a cramped airplane seat) and on the tour bus for 5 days. It was the best back cushion I've ever used and I had no back pain after sitting for hours in one position. Thank you for offering one of the best products I've ever bought!

The pillow is very comfortable. However, I had to re-inflate it about every 20 minutes, and I am a lightweight. My old pillow, which I lost, had a simple opening with a plug you inserted. I think they should forget the fancy valve.

I do several long haul flights every year.Without this cushion i would be crippled by the end of the flight. PS Thanks for reducing the value of the consignment to the minimum. With luck i wont have to pay any import duty.

I bought one of these for myself some time ago and find it to be so very helpful on flights (you know, so little room to move around in the seats). I provides just the right amount of support to the lumbar area since it's so easily adjustable. Bought 3 more for my children.

I have very bad back problems and this lumbar pillow has worked beautifully. I bought several as they're useful everywhere: in movie theaters, cars, even at home when relaxing. It's easy to adjust for the right support needed at the moment. I do miss a more expensive discontinued model that a more easily accessible valve, but this one is very good and I would recommend it.

I hate flying on airplanes, for all sorts of reasons, but specifically because my lower back always hurts by the time I deplane. This gadget worked great. Open the tab and use one or two puffs to blow up the pillow to firm. Then press on the pink button to release air 'till you get the right level of firmness for you. It's a snap to fold and roll up to fit into the cloth bag it came in. It provides good support in a plane seat. When I deplaned yesterday--from a 3 hour flight--my back was not bothering me a bit.

I purchased this lumbar cushion thinking that since I've tried everything else, this wasn't going to work either. Since I have a flight planned overseas, I decided to give it a try. I was so pleasantly surprised when I opened it and tried it at home before my trip, that I use it at home as well. If you purchase this, you won't be disappointed.

We ordered two and one was defective and I sent it back expecting you to send a replacement but you elected to refund my money for the defective item. That was fine with us and we are very satisfied with the one we have.

This product is great! Blows up with just a couple of easy puffs and deflates in seconds. Easy to adjust. The pouch it comes in easily attaches to my purse or carry-on. My back is always killing me after just a short time on a plane, train or bus and this was wonderfully comfortable.

Seats are never comfy -- especially in the back of the plane. This was the perfect size both flat in my carry-on and with just one 1/2 puffs of air it fit comfortably behind my back and relieved any strain. I purchased this lumbar cushion for a tour of Canada that involved airplane, bus, and train travel. It is just as easy to inflate and deflate as the description claims and packs small. Extremely useful for someone who has trouble sitting comfortably for more than 15 minutes without lumbar support.

This is the best lumbar support pillow ever! It is really easy to inflate, adjust, and deflate. The mesh side is cool, the ultrasuede is comfy. The sides add some nice support. The navy color is attractive and helps the visibility so you don't forget to take it with you when you get up from the airplane seat. Now I'm getting one for my car and for my office chair.
