Magellan's Luxe Inflatable Seat Cushion

I just came back from 2 long international trips... I was sitting on this for 12-18 hours. It literally was amazing! It is by FAR the best cushion. It inflates/deflates quickly. A little bulky for TOTALLY worth it. It even makes a difference for 4 hour flights!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

We've just returned from a vacation which included flights from Detroit to Charles De Gaulle Airport and returning from Istanbul to JFK. I have sciatica and knew that I need some protection. A four and a half hour flight usually sets it off: eleven hours looked daunting, at best.

I read all of the reviews and gave the Luxe Cushion a try. It was a dream: easy to inflate, easy to adjust, quick to deflate and fits into the storage bag with no problems at all. (They must have addressed an earlier complaint about to tight a bag)

I'd recommend this product to anyone with sciatica. I'm now using it to pad my desk chair: it's better than the foam cushion I've been using for years.

I got one of these for our last overseas flight and was so pleased with it that I am ordering one as a gift for my husband! I was so much more comfortable!

I travel extensively and the worn out hard cushions in coach were really putting a strain on me, this cushion has made a tremendous difference, almost as comfy as business, and easy to use. ordering one today for my wife. BTW, also works well in the car.

This cushion is great, it makes the airline seats bearable for long flights - I might even go so far as to say comfortable. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the valve tends to let all the air out as soon as you press it. It takes awhile to figure out just how to touch it so only a little bit of air escapes at a time.

Thank you for the inflatable seat cushion. I use it everywhere I go now. I went on a 12 day trip to Japan last month and many people in the tour group had travel items that were attractive or convenient. When we asked where they purchased each item, the answer was always, "MAGELLAN'S".

I found this seat cushion to be very helpful on my recent overseas trip. I've always had trouble in ariline seats on long flights, and this made it much more bearable.

It was very difficult to get out of the nylon sack, which should have been made more roomy. I found it difficult for me to inflate by mouth. Am returning it, but keeping the self-inflatable one and will try it out for an upcoming trip overseas.

I cannot believe how comfortable this seat cushion is! What a difference it makes. I use it for flights and also when I'm at home sitting on the floor watching TV with our dog, Chloe. My husband tried it and liked it so much he had me order one for him, too. It's worth every penny!!

I was not sure that a cushion that is only a couple of inches thick after inflation would do the job, but much to my surprise, it works great. I drive a bus all day long and it has made my day a lot more enjoyable. It does not slip and slide around the seat and is very comfortable. Most importantly, it stays inflated. Thank you. Jim Parker

Very helpful for our transatlantic flights. Squeezed into the bottle side pocket of my backpack. Used it to sit onoutdour bench while waiting for the train in the cold. Good insulator. Deflates quickly as the flight is deplaning.

These cushions really did make our plane flights more comfortable. However, we have had trouble with one of the valves that seems to be faulty. The bracket that holds the button for releasing air comes loose and it is very hard to restore it to its' proper position.

My wife and I bought two of these cushions for our trip from Boston to Bosnia & Herzegoving. Most helpful in the long plane rides, especially when the airline seat is well used and hard. Useful also for various situations in our destination: Medjugorje, a pilgrimage site. Unfortunately as we exited our plane in Split, one of our cushions was left behind. But we highly recommend them.

Good product but sad that it costs so much to ship to the UK. Otherwise I would be back for more.

This worked pretty well on the last trip-it is easy to deflate and carry in my backpack and it is adjustable easily as well once you sit on it. I liked that I could take the cover off and wash it if needed. It helps make those hard plane seats more bearable. Just don't forget it when you get off the plane-I almost did one time!
