Magellan's Day/Night Pill Organizer

These are fabulous! I use them on every trip! (I have 4 so I can pack enough for a month long trip!) They make a perfect gift for friends and family that travel! LOVE LOVE LOVE! :)

I bought this for an upcoming trip, but it only holds 8 days of medications if you use it as intended. I'm going to be gone 4 weeks, so I made myself more pill pouches using small zipper bags... just won't be as clear as to day and night medications, but it seems better than my previous hard case, so we'll see!

I used to fill sandwich bags with supplements for each day of a trip. The pill organizer makes it so much easier and neater with containers and pockets for eight days and nights or sixteen days. I ordered one, and when friends saw it, I had to order three more for them.

Warning label affixed to box: "WARNING: This product contains a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm." This should have been included in the product description. Also, there is an odor to the plastic bag containers. The design itself is great, and the plastic bags will hold quite a few pills. Not sure that I want to actually use it, however.

I love the compactness of this organizer. However when I opened one of the ziplock bag, it had an awful smell. In reading the box, it said that this may cause cancer in California. I washed out each one with just water and let it air dry. It helped but there still is a smell. I used it but added a small piece of paper towel in each one thinking that my help. I probably would not have bought 2 of them if I had read this review.

I have to admit that I haven't used this yet, but the design is just what's needed for a two week trip. Whenever I have traveled in the past, I have had to use my 7-day pill organizer and then put another week's worth of pills in a baggie. Not convenient!!! With this organizer (and assuming you don't need to separate your pills between morning and evening), you have 16 little pouches instead of 7. Each pouch is numbered and it all wraps up into a neat 5x8" pouch. In addition, there is a zippered compartment containing a medical information form for you to fill out. I will be taking the organizer with me on my 2-week trip to Antarctica and am looking forward to using it.

This pill organizer is the first I've ever used that keeps medications where they belong! The pill organizers I've used in the past have popped open in my luggage, spilling the contents everywhere. Another advantage is that if pills need to be taken with a meal, the appropriate "envelope" can be slipped in my purse as is. No need for a separate pill container to take to the restaurant.

I have used this product on 4 trips to Europe and many home trips. It is great for carrying your meds without lugging all those bottles around. As well, if you need, you can carry the morning or evening meds with you in your pocket with security to take when needed. It is so good, I even have given some out as gifts. I highly recommmend if you need to have your meds with you!

Loved using this pill organizer. The organizer takes up little space and allowed me to carry 8 days of medication. If you do not take any night medication, organizer could be used for longer trips.

I borrowed this organizer from a friend for a recent trip and found it so convenient and helpful that I immediately purchased one for myself for my next trip and may just start using it for everyday.

I vacationed in Antigua in June 2012. This pill organizer was the best travel accessory that I have ever had. I'm not on any prescription medications; I do, however, take vitamin and herb supplements. It would have been a pain in the buttocks if I had to tug along all those bottles of vitamin/herb supplements because a few of the bottles are VERY large. But with this pill organizer, I was able to leave the large bottles behind. I conveniently distributed my supplements in the little pouches a few days prior to my trip so all I had to do is put the organizer in my carry-on bag. It's about the size of a large wallet and had enough little pouches to last me 8 days and nights. Since I take supplements twice a day, this was ideal for the week of my vacation. Now that my vacation is over, I thought.... Why not continue to use this pill organizer? Since it is so convenient, I just pack it once a week, take a little packet to work with me everyday and use the other packet when I come home at night. It's so much better than trying to go through each of those bottles, everytime I need to take my supplements. Thank you Magellans for a nifty product that I can use not only on trips, but for everyday.

Love this pill organizer! Beats trying to put all your day & night vit in a bottle. With this just pull out the pouch for the day or night. I would recommend this for anyone that takes different vitamins for the am & pm.

These heavy-duty zip-lock bags were ideal to prevent loss of pills, which I had experienced with the plastic boxes with snap lids that sometimes opened in transit. Also, when I went out for a meal I could easily slip the appropriate bag of pills into my pocket for use later. The use of 2 different colours allowed me to organize my pills into morning and evening sets. And the case was easy to pack.

Love this item... I was really tired of spilling my pill when I dropped my other pill sorter.

For something so compact it has been able to accommodate. It 8 days of medication but fourteen as well as notes and a few other items. Well worth it.

I first used a smaller version several years ago on a trip to Europe. I bought this larger version for a recent trip to Africa and was very pleased with it. Makes it easy to keep meds organized and is compact.

This product keeps pill organization simple. I refill about twice a month, and keep track of reorders easily with this routine. I do wish the refill pouches weren't as expensive. I feel as if it makes more sense to buy a new organizer that spend 30% of the overall cost to buy 4 unnumbered pouches.

The pill organizers were, without a doubt, the best product I have ever used for travel. and I have used many types before and traveled a lot. They were well made, very light,with outstanding mechanical packaging efficiency. Their flat geometry enabled them to be packaged in a number of different configurations with other travel items. I definitely recommend this product.

I bought one of these for a recent cruise vacation & it worked great! We didn't really need the day night feature so DW & I just shared one, each using one side. This is so easy to pack in your carryon & if you need to take the days pills with you to eat all you have to take is that days pouch. My wife loved that feature as she needs to eat before taking some meds. We both loved it so much, we came home & ordered 3 more for gifts to other family members.

Wish I would have discovered this sooner. Travel all the time, great way to take all of my pills on my trips. Suggest the exter bags for longer trips.

This product allows me to go on a vacation that is more than 14 days and not take pill bottles. It would be great if more than 4 extra pouches were offered as refills then one could stretch 3 of this product to a month and not take up a lot of space in ones carry-on.

I travel a lot and always have had to figure out a way to carry my pills without taking all the bottles. This is a wonderful solution -- and a small enough item to not take up lots of space. I love the fact that there are individual bags for each morning and evening and that it is lightweight and compact. I'm going on a three month trip this spring and can't wait to use it. The perfect way to keep track of your pills while you travel. Pouches let you keep AM and PM segregated. You can easily slip the pouch in your purse and be assured that you have your prescription at your finger tips even while traveling. Highly recommend.

I will be gone for three weeks so needed something besides my regular weekly pill box (I take a lot of medications). I think this will work nicely. It is clearly marked and arranged and is light weight.

I have used my pill organizer from Magellan's for years and love it. We are going on a long trip and I needed another one for my husband. On short trips under 8 days we can each use a side but not this time. Love the convenience, quality, design, and security of this organizer. It is better than anything else on the market to date.

For one not use to taking pills and now a requirement I found the Magellan pill organizer a big help. Even though it means counting our and organizing the pills I find this much better than packing up 5 Rx bottles. Thanks Magellan.

This product is great and solves the bill on traveling with meds. I do suggest that you carry a script with you and i did have a security tsa put my bag through three times looking specfically at my medicines. I did have my scripts with me as suggested by you so thanks. I laugh as i only take two meds rest are vitamins. I bought two cases and use the other one for my jewerly and small chargers etc any small item i want to find easily.

This pocket organizer is useful whether you are traveling or simply organizing at home. I think it could be used to organize other items besides pills, but it is perfect for me.

Greatest way yet to travel with medications/supplements. Able to track what was taken and easy to carry with on excursions. Handy pocket kept medical records as well as PRN medications at the ready.

I take so many supplements, this pill organizer is fantastic! I use it for travel as well as at home. The only thing it doesn't have is extra cases in case one gets damaged (my cat ate one, pills included!) or you need a mid-day case. Still, it's lightweight and doesn't take up much room in my purse or suitcase. Great product!

The little plastic zippers break off after moderate use. I also wish the company offered numbered replacement pouches. Other than these 2 issues, I love using this organizer for all of our travels. I can use the pouches on their own and the zippered pocket is a great storage area for prescription labels.

THIS IS A FABULOUS LITTLE ORGANIZER. I HAVE NOT TRAVELED WITH IT YET, BUT I AM USING IT AT HOME. IT TAKES AWHILE TO FILL ALL OF THE BAGGIES (WHICH ARE VERY STURDY) BUT IT IS SO MUCH EASIER AT NIGHT TO OPEN JUST ONE BAGGIE INSTEAD OF 5 PILL BOTTLES. SHOULD BE MUCH EASIER TO TRAVEL WITH THIS LITTLE FOLDER THAN ALL THOSE BOTTLES.

I had been using mini plastic bags for organizing my pills for trips, but this pill wallet makes it much, much easier. Instead of separating pills by morning and night, I used the organizer to pack 2+ weeks of pills for a long trip. The packets are MUCH easier to open/close than the little plastic bags, and there's a zippered section where I can store pills I don't need every day. I got one for myself and one for my husband. I would highly recommend this product.

This item is a decided improvement over taking all of your bottles with you and far easier to pack than the hard plastic organizers. So far I think it is good value for your money.

This is the third time buying this product. Works great but be sure to get the extra packets (separate price) because over time the little plastic pouches will wear out; hence this is why I am buying this again.

this is the second pill organizer that I've had from Magellan's - the first was just a "day" organizer - it's the best and easiest way to carry my pills for trips.

Makes life so much easier for us when we travel. We don't have to carry tons of pill bottles with us anymore.

I take a lot of vitamins and supplements every day and would often rush out of the house in the morning having forgotten to take them. I couldn't find a portable pill box that could accomodate the amount I needed. The Pill Organizer lets me sort out all the pills I need for the whole week- morning and night. In the morning I can just grab the little envelope I need for that day and if I forget to take my pills at home I can take the envelope with me. It is, of course, perfect for travelling too.

Although good concept, difficult to fill up with pills. Easy to carry around the individual days though.

My hubby andI like this pill organizer. We have 3 in different colors. The colors denote to us whether the pills are for morning or evening dispensing. One drawback is that at times the pouches do not want to "unzip" and it takes a little patience to get them to open. Also, it would be nice to have extra pouches available to replace those that become over-used. We travel a lot so they get a lot of use. Beats taking all those pill vials!

This is a very nice way to organize daily medications. It takes a little time to set fill it in the individual zip lock packets, but it beats taking many bottles for morning and night doses. The bad part is the days are numbered (you know how you forget which day it is on a great vacation) but now you always know there are only x number of days left in your vacation!

I have hunted and hunted for a pill organizer. This one is now both for travel and for home. I don't have to take the entire case to meals. I just pull out the correct packet and I am good to go. I now own two because I like it so much.

I purchased the Pill Organizer for my husband for an upcoming Eurpean trip. He found the organizer to be compact & conveniet. It holds all his meds and still fits nicely in his carry on bag. He plans to use it on his next backpacking trip also...again fitting well in the back pack.

I bought 2, a blue one for my husband, a red one for me and just used them again this week. I love the fact that you can carry a day's supply on your person in the removable plastic "bags" and that they carry 8 days of medication so I can use the 8th day for miscellaneous items if my trip isn't as long. After using a variety of medication carrier products, I have finally found the perfect product. No worry about tops popping open, contents spilling out, etc.

This pill organizer is the best...other ones are plastic with lids and the boxes come undone and all the pills spill out. With this organizer, the pills are sealed in plastic pouches and the pouches are numbered so you have pills for day and night. You just pull out the pouch and open and use it. With the hard boxes, the whole box is either too large or heavy while this organizer folds up and is small and lightweight. Love it!!!

The pill organizer is a great invention for anyone that takes a lot of pills, day & night. A lot of mine are over-the-counter vitamins, etc. but I still like to take them when on vacation. I always had a heck of a time keeping track of what I was doing and even forgot half the time before I owned this organizer. Now It's a breeze. The only problem I've had is when I'm gone longer than 8 days/nights. Then you have to double up on some of them and I have to start thinking again. :(

This is a great way for me to carry my prescriptions medications while on a trip. It's easy to slip into my handbag or carry-on.The outside zippered pocket allows for holding any written instructions or for items that won't fit in the small pouches. I write the name of each prescription on a small piece of paper an place in each numbered pouch to remind me what they are. I always pack 2-3 extra pills each just in case there are unexpected delays plus I always know if I've taking my pill by the number remaining, merely by looking at the pouch. I sincerely appreciate this addition to my travel supplies.

This is an excellent organizer for medications, vitamins, etc. I highly recommend it. It folds to a very compact size, making it very easy to pack.

This is a great help for traveling. I was gone two weeks and put two days' and two nights' worth of pills in each pouch. They fit well and displayed easily, and the fold-up package is less bulky than the usual little plastic bins. I recommend this product.

The best thing is you can set up your medication for the week and can easily check whether you have taken it or not. This product really helps. It is ideal also for long distance travel across time zones, by putting a note of the medication required at the time at home.

this pill travel pack was really good. It worked well except that it should have been for 10 days instead of 8, since most tours are for 10 days. I had to buy an extra pack of plastic envelopes for the extra days. Other than that, it worked really well.

I bought this item as we were going to take our first cruise and I didn't want to slug around 16 bottles of pills. It was so handy as I put the pills in different pouches and took them out each day. When we went ashore, I used the individual pouches which I bought separately and used them for the different meals and times. I was so glad to find this pill organizer and highly recommend it. My friend has one as well and he puts his pills for each day in a pouch and then just carries one small pouch around in his pocket. A great buy for travelers. I would give this 10 stars if I could.

I found this prouct very useful. However, I should have ordered two of them for my trip was 10 days.

I purchased this for our trip in June so we haven't used it yet. However, it looks like it will really fit the bill for all of my husband's and also my medications. You can just take out your little pouch for the day and carry it in your purse and you're all set to go. You don't have to worry about carrying the entire pouch with you while you're sightseeing.

When you're traveling you've got more important things to do than either taking all your medication bottles or counting things out. The Organizer allows you to do that before you leave and just pull out the appropriate packet and get on with the pleasure (or business). I like it.

I take lots of meds and all will have to go with me on our cruise and our stay in Rome this summer. This pill organizer is perfect and packs light.

The best pill organizer I ever had for traveling. The individual plastic holders are very large. Folds very flat even if filled to capacity.

I am so happy not to have to carry pill bottles anymore. This is perfect ! It is very slim and hardly takes up any space in my purse. Other pill organizers I have purchased did not worked well I am following another review for using to carry some jewelry.

I ordered two of these for a long trip as I must take medicine twice daily. The outside cover is cheaper looking than I expected, and one of the ziplock pill holders arrived with a big slit I had to tape over. Additionally, for the (high) price I think the manufacturer should include several extra ziplock packets for back up. Nevertheless, the organizer worked brilliantly for my needs as I could pull out the ziplock packet each morning or evening and hit the sightseeing trail without delay.

This was the best way to organize my pills that I have ever tried. It packed compactly and kept me right on schedule every day. I highly recommend this for anyone with a regular routine of pills they need to take. My trip was to Haiti.

Ordered one for my Mom for Christmas for a trip planned later in the year, we liked it so much we order one for each one of us also. It has good sized pouches and folds down to a great size for packing. Highly recommend it.

Four stars because it is lightweight and packs so well. I did not give it a 5th because its a little bit of a "pill" to stuff each bag. ( Not as easy as the traditional pill box you can get for 1 wk of pills) If you ignore the day/night feature you can get 2 weeks in this organizer. I would recommend it if you don't mind the slightly extra time it takes to stuff it and you will be gone for more than a week. All in all a great product!

I got one for me and two for my husband (he has day and night meds). They worked great for the two week trip we just took. I was concerned that the baqs might not do well in the heat and humidity in Ecuador, but they kept everything clean and dry. My only reason for a 4-star instead of a 5-star is that the bags are a little difficult to fill.

For years I have used small zip lock bags just for my vitamins and it was a pain to try and keep track of the AM from the PM vitamins. This put everything in one place and it fit all of my vitamins nicely. Thanks for such a great product.

The pill organizers are wonderful because they enable you to take all your pills with you on trips and take up very little luggage or purse space. The pills stay in the bags and don't fall out into your purse or carryon luggage so that's a plus. I just ordered a third one for myself. The only negative is if the little plastic piece comes off the track, it's tricky to get back on again.

I take trips of 3 weeks or more and filling flat plastic bags is much more efficient that plastic bottles or boxes.

Very convenient. I used the red ones and my husband used the blue. Zip bags have a funny smell to me and made the pills sort of funky-tasting, but my husband didn't notice. Liked that a med info card was included and there was a pocket to put my doctor's note about my having prescription narcotics.

Just took this on a 7 day trip and loved it. I also have the smaller, 8 section version, but it is so much easier to have each morning's and evening's pills in a thin, separate container - just grab and go. There are even 2 zippered sections on the back for other items. I would highly recommend this.

I found the Pill Organizer is the best I ever found for traveling. Each day I would put the packets I needed each day in my purse and never had to worry about going back to the hotel to take my medication.

We've replaced our pill boxes with these handy pill pouches & really like the convenience. We can remove an individual day's bag to carry on the plane or to carry down to breakfast in any hotel. We use one side for day meds & the other side for nighttime meds. There's a separate zipper section to carry copies of prescriptions. These take up less room in our carryon. Great design.

The pouches are good sized and plenty of them. I haven't used it yet, but I'm expecting it will work out better than what I've been using.

Usually I lug my prescription bottles with me and they take up much room in my carry-on tote. This organizer not only gets rid of the bottles, but each dose of medication is prepared for the trip before I leave. The quality of the case and pill containers is excellent.

In the past I used to save my film canisters to put in our pill when going on vacation....this took time as we had to label each canister with the date and there had to be two of ecah day - for 2 people that is a lot of canisters to deal with. I then say the Day/ night Pill organizer in the Magellan's catalogue! Just what I wanted. As we go on vacations lasting 7 days, this was the perfect solution!! I ordered one in Blue for myself and Black for my partner.

I used this for an extended weekend trip and loved it. I put medication in four zip bags and placed other "if needed" pills (antacids, ibuprofen) in some of the empty bags. It worked out great. I used to take a toiletries bag with a pill box for the scheduled meds and small bottles of the if needed pills. This organizer is so much more compact. Great investment.

This organizer was great for a recent trip. I take multiple meds twice a day and the system was very good. However, I had hoped to use it on a daily basis. It's great for carrying the meds I need for the day in my pocket, but loading the little envelopes is somewhat tedious. I will probably stick with my old system for daily use and just use this for traveling.

This organizer is very streamlined and allows a more compact way of traveling with your medications.

I have used several different travel pill organizers and this one is the best I have found so far. The only negative was that it didn't come with labels for the individual pill envelopes but I just used my label machine. It is small, compact, and easy to pack and use. I highly recommend.

Love this product! It is compact, easy to pack and with 8 compartments that are color coded, we can pack morning and evening medications for a full week OR, if we could pack all our daily pills in the plastic bags for two weeks of travel.

I love it! And I am so sold on them that I ordered each of my sisters a Day/Night Pill Organizer. My twin sister had a double lung transplant 2 years ago and takes many pills, so this will help her to keep them orderly. (I ordered 2 of them for her) And my other sister and I both are into vitamins and they take up lots of space. These Organizers are perfect. They are roomy and easy to fill. Super product!

I'm an obsessive packer so I bought the red organizer for all my first aid extras and a blue for sewing, repairs and laundry travel aids. Oh and a black one for my vitamins and pills .. I'm done !!!

I purchased four organizers, two each for my husband and me. We both thought they were great, easy to pack in carry-on luggage, and flexible because you can easily carry one or two packets separately. I especially liked that Magellan representative responded so quickly for a replacement packet when I called to request one because one of the closure tabs was missing. She told me the packet would be there the next day, and it was...in plenty of time for our trip.

Purchased this for elderly parents and they loved it! I am keeping one for myself as well for vitamins etc. Much easier than carrying bottles and zip lock bags. Allows for an organized and accessible way to travel with medications and vitamins. Can also be used for everyday use.

This is my second pill organizer. Lost the first and just could not travel with anything else. I know I have enough of my meds/vitamins for a trip. The numbered pockets helps to remind you that you have/have not taken your daily meds.

I ordered two of these, one for me and one for my husband. We each used one side for items we take daily. The other side we used for items such as allergy medication. It made it easy to remember our medication. Great product.

This orgainzer is great! I used the blue, he used the red. Really cut down the on the need to take bottles of vitamins and other pills. Small enough to tuck into your carry on.

Finding pill organizers has been a challenge. Especially for travel. The Day/Night Pill Organizer travels well and keeps my meds secure in my travel bag. Recently I traveled for more than a week. I tried to find another solution, but eventually decided to buy 2 of them. It doesn't take up too much space and I didn't have to bring my meds in bulk (which rattles around during travel).

I have tried every product that I could find to keep track of my medicines, and this is the 1st product that I have found that can do it. Each pouch zips to ensure that the pills stay secure while I am traveling. No more loose pills every where because the container that I have used has opened, while traveling. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT!

Loved this product and kept me organized the whole trip. Could just take what I needed for the day instead of carrying a larger container. Loved the cool green color also.

We use 1 "container" every 4 days though as we have morning, mid-day, dinner and bedtime pills. Many people have 4 times a day meds. I have had to get enough whole "Units" for up to 21 day journey's. Thanks for having different colored outsides now

I finally got my pills from melting together over a 30 day trip! This organizer paid for itself the 1st trip.

Perfect for my needs as I take 23 pills everyday & I could never find a daily pill container large enough to accomodate that many pills when I go on vacation.

I take a lot of pills, and this is great. The only problem is that it's set up for morning and night; I'd love one that had packets for 3 times a day. I just bought a second one for a longer trip and have given them as gifts.

This product is very useful if you need to organize a lot of medicines. The individual pouches allow for versatility if you are traveling for fewer days than a week. I liked it very much for its ease of use.

This worked very well. My teenager went to Europe for two weeks without us this summer and I did not trust him to take meds out of bottles every day. He only takes meds once a day so I used each zip-bag for each day and it was perfect for the two weeks he was gone. I am amazed that the zip-bags came home empty (in other words he took his meds!!) There is also a compartment where I was able to put an inhaler and copies of the Rx. I am glad I bought this.

I really like this organizer for day, evening pills. I can just grab the right packet when I'm going out to dinner. Wish it had packets for midday medication. I bought extra pouches and will label them "noon" .

I take a lot of vitamins and I have never found a pill organizer that could hold them all. Not only can this hold them all, it's convenient, well organized and is compact enough to slip into any bag.

Excellent companion for travel of any length of time. Instead of carrying plastic pill organizers which take more space and may open during the trip, these are more compact and secure. Also, the additional pouches make it easier to prepare for a longer trip. Highly recommend this item!

I've used this for two trips now--it's great not to have to take all the bottles and to have all the morning and evening things separated but easily visible. It also means I don't skip the supplements I need because they're already counted out!

I used this item not as a day/night pill organizer but for 2 people for an 8 day trip. My Husband used the blue and I used the red. Worked great. Kept everything together and we did not have to carry large bulky containers. Would love to see a smaller weekend version. Longer trips, I would need to buy 2. Would like to see other color packs besides red and blue. However, I would recommend item. Also item has a zipper area where pill/medical info can be kept. Great idea!!

My wife and I love to travel and therefore we both have learned the benefits of traveling "light"! Pack just what you need. I take a couple pills and vitamins daily and have routinely used the 7 day plastic case with 7 small compartments. Not the best for longer trips which requires packing additional containers of pills. This organizer fits the bill perfectly. You can store all your necessary pills in one organized location. I love it and you will too!

I find this very helpful. Just pull out my pills for the day, slip them into my shirt pocket and we're off for another adventure.

This is the greatest. The only thing i had to do was remember that the number one represented Sunday, the number two was Monday and so on down the line. The red was my morning dose the blue was my evening dose and the number eight held the doses for the following week. that way i had a two week supply on hand in the kit. i just got back from a two week stay in California and it was perfect. This was the best pill organizer ever. I got one for my husband and myself. So easy to just reach in and get the pills needed each morning and so easy to carry the pills for after my dinner each night. Neve forgot to take my pills at the correct time.

I bought one each for my husband and for me before a 2 week overseas trip. Neither of us take a lot of medicine - mostly vitamins - but we like to keep the routine. We've tried various pill organizers but this is by far the best. It fits nicely in a backpack and as we took that day's pills, we would leave the slider over to the open side for a quick check if we had taken our pills that day.

I love this pill organizer. It lies flat in my carry on luggage requiring a minimum of space. I bought the bright red so it is easy to find. In addition to eight compartments labeled in different colors for day and night, it as a pocket for copies of my perscriptions. It is a winner

This Pill Organizer is ideal for my AM and PM pills. It folds flat even when loaded with my medications and my supplements. Easy to open, secure pouches are clearly marked for AM Red) and PM (Blue), which suits my needs to a T.

The pill organizer seemed like a simple way to organize meds. The drawback. It takes up more room than just filling small baggies. The pills are held in zip lock plastic containers, I received mine with two plastic containers unsealable-broken. Still, a good idea. Best when filled with just a few pills.

My husband has many pills to take morning and evening, and I am able to organize 16 days at a time by placing them in a "morning" pill organizer, and "evening" one, thus saving us both a great deal of time. I now have one for myself and place all my daily vitamins in an organizer. It's great for travel and at home!

This was the best part of my trip! Since my trip was for 12 days, I just used one bag for each day putting all my pills for that day in one sleeve. It worked great, and I did not loose any pills or forget to take any as I could take the small plastic envelope with me in my purse for the day! Then I would turn the envelope backwards in the line up as I used them. Just a really great product!! And it fit in a much smaller space than lots of bottles, way to go!

I am a pharmacist and I love the way this is layed out. It give 16 individual heavy plastic lock bags. That is enough for morning & night meds for 8 days. If you are traveling for a longer period of time just order 2 organizers. When my wife saw mine she immediately had to have one. Thanks. Lee

I purchased this product because I was taking a mini-break to Florida for a short 5 days. I needed something that was going to fit into my backpack carry-on that contained everything for my trip. Because the backpack was also mu suitcase, the travel pill organizer had to be compact and easy to place so that it took up as minimal space as possible. This particular organizer fit the bill This organizer easily fit into the smallest corner of my carry on. It took up minimal space. With pills onboard, the organizer was about ½ inch thick, was about 6 inches long and 4 inches wide. As I take a significant amount for various health issues, having a compact pill organizer is no small matter. The only draw back is that it's not so easy to fill each of the packets. The easiest way is to pull all of the packets out of the organizer and pre-open the zip top before you proceed with filling each with the pills. Otherwise, you'll have to pull the pocket, unzip, add pill and proceed, which is a lot more work. All zip tops are nice and secure and pretty much water proof. They aren't 100% water proof, I'm sure, but they'll with stand the occasion where a piece of luggage is left on the Tarmac in a down pour. I'm very happy with this product. It's a purchase I'm glad I made, which is why I gave it 5 stars.

when you are traveling the last thing you want to do is play around with your pills. This product helps to keep them very organized.

I am well pleased with the Pill Organizer. We are traveling for 13 days and I purchased one for myself and one for my husband to carry all of our vitamins and it is going to be quite handy to continue taking our daily regimen of vitamins etc.

The organizer is easy to use and carry. It has two advantages over plastic pill cases, it takes less space and the pills will not fall out.

would like to see an improvement in the plastic pouches. We have 4 of these organizers and use them on a daily basis. The side seams on the pouches have begun to open and I have had to reinstall some zippers. Don't take me wrong here, I couldn't manage all these different medications without the organizer, it is the best, but a more durable pouch would be appreciated!!

I purchased two of these,,,,one for myself and one for my husband. We recently took a five day vacation by plane and would have had to carrry so many pill containers. With these cases, it was so easy to take our medications which were all sorted and ready for dispensing in the morning and evening. Even my husband, who was not especially impressed when I showed them to him, commented afterward about what a good idea they had been.

This worked better than anything I have used before, i.e. pill boxes. But the usual problem is that I normally travel for at least two weeks and this only covers 8 days. Certainly you can double up in some of the packages as long as you remember that is what you have done.

I ordered 2 of these, one in red for me, blue for my husband and they are great! Such a convenient way to carry medication, especially since there are pockets for day and evening dosages and no worries of the container opening up. Would highly recommend to anyone.

My husband has two cycles of pills to take each day and for long trips this used to mean lots of snack sized baggies and possible missed medications. The pill organizer eliminated those baggies and made missing medications next to impossible! I recommend this also for two people traveling together as one can use the red packets and one the blue ones.

I take medication four times a day so these pill organizers will come in handy to carry with me during the day. They are compact and will be easy to pack and find since they are such bright colors. I ordered 4 so I could divide my pills by the time of day I take them. Compact and easy to use.

This is the FIRST pill organizer I have ever found that helps to keep you organized from morning to night for 8 days and requires little effort to put it together and not much room in a carry on to keep it with you. This was my first time ordering from Magellan's and I loved everything that I ordered.

I have found that this organizer is a great help everytime I travel. It is something I can do in advance and it is so compact that I can carry it in my purse. I have had mine for at least two years and have used it numerous times. The one I just ordered was for my brother, he saw mine and was impressed.

These are great for all the reasons stated in other reviews. Just be careful if you are using them for certain types of pills such as vitamin E gel capsules, food-based multivitamin tablets, B vitamin tablets, or any pill containing oil or moisture. We found that these type of things tended to melt, get soft, or leak inside the plastic pouch, or tend to discolor it, especially if not kept at cool temperatures or left inside too long.

This product is so wonderful when you are traveling. Having your morning vitamins and medications on one side, and your evening ones on the right, helps you to keep organized and never forget if you have taken your pills. The fact that they now have replacement inserts is even better. My friends liked my organizer so much that I ordered one as a gift for each of them in different colors. I have been looking for something like this for years. I bought 3, one for my husband and me. Next time we travel I will buy 2 more. I was able to color coordinate since my inside storage containers are red and his black, it was perfect. They are light weight and I could carry them in my purse on the plane. There is a special compartment for a Medication list and a brief medical history. Good to have handy while traveling.

This is a great product, a must have. I love the way you can easily take your days worth of vitamins with you to breakfast while traveling.

I am leaving on a two week trip and find this very helpful to keep pills separate from day and night, but by the time I packed all of the pills for two weeks, the organizer was much thicker than I thought it would be.

The pill organizer is wonderful. It keeps morning and evening pills separate by day. It really beats having multiple pill bottles to keep track of. I loved it the first time I used it and would recommend it to anyone who takes more than one pill or prescription per day.

The organizer is compact and easy to pack. It is useful to have a supply of pills that can be carried on in case shipped luggage is delayed or does not arrive.

When traveling abroad we are usually gone for a minimum of 13 days. I had the weekly organizer but this organizer allows me to plan for a longer trip. It isn't too bulky given the vitamins I pack which surprised me. Worth it.

I ordered two and will be ordering more a very convenient way to organize medications for travel or home use. Easy to use and read. Some of the gel pills stick in the plastic envelope but not a problem to retreive.

This is my second travel pill organizer. This time Ibought the green one. I really like the color. It is great to have the individual numberd envelops. They fit in ones purse or pocket easily. They are not as visible as the plastic containers. There are some improvements I would like to see in the product. The plasic envelops wear out sooner than I would like. The replacement envelops do not have numbers.

If only for a weekend or as much as two weeks, keeping my meds and vitamins straight was cumbersome and a chore. This nifty pill organizer has solved this annoying problem and made travelling with a little more peace of mind a reality.

The Traveler's Pill Organizer is perfect for short or long trips. It is compact, flat, portable, and organized so that one doesn't forget what day he/she has taken his many pills. I love the way the pill organizer is flat, even when full of pills, and is so easy to take in a carry-on without taking up so much room. Being able to remove the packets & take them to meals is terrific. I leave the zip lock open after taking the pills for easy access at a quick glance.

Years ago I bought 3 individual pouches, they were great for trips, 1 for Rick, 1 for me, 1 for tylenol, antacids etc. I needed replacement pouches, and saw the double pouch, that would be great for an up coming vacation and it was just perfect, Rick's in one and mine in another, The organizer is a life saver, I recomment it to everyone that deals with alot of RX's. Beats carrying all those bottles areound.

Given the fact that Airlines are reducing the number of items that you may take aboard, how can one pack multiple medications. Prior to this organizer I had to carry 8 different meds which many look alike in either one bottle, or eight different ones. This solved my problem. Also, it permitted me to separate those that are twice dailly. Best of all, it is in one pack.

My husband and I took these pill organizers on a 2-week trip to Tanzania; they were great to use. Very easy to remember to take medications both day and night because I could just put the pill envelopes in my pocket wherever I traveled and not forget the "pillbox". Very important when you have to take daily meds for malaria!

These travel wallets worked so well on our trip that I've decided to buy another for my jewelry..that way I can keep my chains from tangling! I highly recommend an extra set of pouches if going on a long trip, that way you don't have to put multiple doses in one pouch. This product is an organizer's dream. No more wrapped tissues in a plastic bag, but each day and night carefully numbered and easy to read. We have not used this yet on a trip, but the idea looks good and it can hold many more pills than my little plastic flip lid container.

I had the earlier, smaller version, which was good for 8 days. I use this one for up to 16 days. I find it very helpful because I can remove each pouch and carry it around in my purse or pocket all day, w/o needing the whole carrier.

I was worried about my pills getting smashed, but this organizer worked beautifully! I didn't check this with my luggage, but carried it on the plane. There was plenty of room for my pills and this saved a lot of space with all my pill bottles.

I used this organizer by putting all of one type of pill in an individual pocket. Some of the medication I took was "as needed." So I could put that sleeve in my purse as I was out sightseeing for the day. Compact for packing.

This is great for packing for a long trip if you take multiple medications. Takes up much less room than pill bottles and keeps medications organized. I have used the one week variety for years but sometimes I travel for longer periods. This is ideal.

This is the best pill organizer. I also bought a few extra pouches. I put a full day's medication in each pouch in the organizer then in the extra pouches I divided up just the next day's medication into three separate pouches leaving my night time meds in the main organizer. Fantastic, it made it very easy for me to keep track of the medication I needed and used less room in my suitcase than my usual pill organizer.

My wife takes a number of medications every day. Before we left on our trip she filled each packet with one days meds and all she needed to do each day was take out one packet and she was all set. Closed up it is very compact and is better than carring 6 different bottles in our luggage.

This is the perfect travel companion for the meds you take. No more carrying a bunch of bottles that take up space and weight. Just put what you need for the trip in the separate sleeves and I take a marker and mark the sleeve with the name of the med and instructions if necessary. You can slip the pouch easily in your purse. Replacement pouches are available if needed over time.

I have searched for a good compact pill organizer. this one is the best I have seen and used it fits easily into your purse or bag and being cloth it is flexible and easier to stow away. I like the separate compartments to hold either daily pills or what ever supplements one might need in addition.

Having worked in a vitamin shop this item is clearly at the cutting edge.All the other products in this catagory are just plastic boxes in different sizes that are clunky and everything spills out if you open it the wrong way. I recently ordered a pill organizer for my mom after several years of using those plasic weekly pill boxes and I can't tell you how much easier it has been. So many times she would open those little plastic box covers and tip it to get her pills out to find out that the evening cover was not closed tightly and they would spill out onto the floor.Other times she would drop the entire weekly container and they would ALL spill.This new pill organizer has been great and it makes traveling a cinch!

Works as advertised, folds (relatively) flat (depending on number and size of pills), holds more pills than other "7 day minders" and closes more securely. Includes a space for things like a spinhaler which don't fit into little pill pouches. Pouches are sturdy plastic and zip shut. Wonderful idea for those who take a number of pills and supplements, saves a LOT of space over individual vials. DOn't know how it would work for international travel where meds need to be in original containers.

We used this for our vitamins while we traveled and the since we were able to remove the packet for the day we always had our vitamins with us when we finished breakfast. For the first time, we took our vitamins every morning while we were on vacation and this organizer made it easy.
