Best for wine, not liquor
By Joanna G., Austin, TX in October, 2012 -
I liked the Bottle Armor XXL, but unfortunately they won't work well for my purposes. If you are traveling with standard wine bottles they are fine. But I travel to the Ukraine and bring back lots of vodka. Some of the bottles are irregular shapes, which I understand the Bottle Armor won't accommodate, but even the large regular bottles wouldn't fit. I do like the fact that they came with extra bubble wrap. Just know that they work best with wine bottles, not liquor bottles.

Really Works!
By Jennifer N., Placerville, CA in April, 2012 -
I have used these for several trips and they work so well! Even when a 1.5 L of Gin wasn't properly sealed and leaked a little, all the liquid remained in the bag and there was no leakage outside the bag. I highly recommend this product!

Too big, but they work
By Lisa B., Oshkosh, WI in January, 2012 -
These are larger than I thought they would be. I reviewed the dimensions before ordering, but when they arrived they just seemed like they would take up more space in my luggage (even empty) than I wanted. I ordered the large size because the regular size says it is for 750ml bottles and I want to be able to pack 1L bottles. The packaging says that the large ones are for 1.5L bottles. I ordered the regular size and they will work fine. I put several 1L bottles of different shapes in the regular size and they fit. I bought a set as a gift as well. The receipient has used them. The bottle they were transporting leaked. The liquid stayed in the bottle armor, so they do work!

Bottle Armor is a great idea
By Belinda H., Calgary, AB in January, 2012 -
Glad I bought it. However wish the catalogue description included what bottle size fits in the different sizes of the bottle armor. Also would make sense to offer a large and xxl in one package instead of 2 of the same size.

Can't Go Wrong!
By Kelly K., Dallas, TX in January, 2012 -
I purchased 2 of the regular sized last year, traveled to Greece from the USA...not only did it protect my inexpensive-USA-purchased wine bottles, but also gave me a cork screw...and allowed me to bring home some home-made vinegar that I purchased in Greece. Worth every penny...will now buy the larger size.
