Magellan's Adventure And Travel Exploration Pants

I purchased these pants for a weeklong trip to Morocco. The pants fit well and are lightweight so they were great for the warm climate where I needed to dress modestly. However, they started to pill after only a day of wear and now they look like heck. I am very disappointed - especially for the price I paid for them. I don't recommend these at all!

Very lightweight, bought for travel, but unlike some other reviewers, mine wrinkled badly.

I took these pants on a trip to Ireland and the very first day I wore them, the snap unexpectantly broke into 3 pieces and fell off. Luckily I had a safey pin. Before the end of our trip, I ended up wearing jeans. I expected a more durable article of clothing for the price.

The pants are feather-light and look good for site-seeing or casual events.

These are very light travel pants, however, they could use more safety pockets. I bought them because they do not wrinkle and are light weight. Easy to pack.

This was my first order from Magellan and feel it might be my last. I was looking for a pair of pants that I could be comfortable in for traveling and thought I would give these a try. I was disappointed. The fabric was very thin and while they were true to size I was afraid that they would snag and rip. One other reviewer mentioned that the pants pilled and shredded within a week - I could see that happening - and for the price they are not worth it! I am returning these unused and disappointed that I have to pay for shipping both ways.

As is usual, I am very satisfied with my latest Magellan purchase. The pants will be included in my next trip abroad. Looks are an issue - A winner! Weight is an issue - A winner! Getting my money's worth is an issue - A winner, again!

I've just returned from a 2 week trip to Paris and wore these pants about half of the time. While sitting on the metro I noticed that the thigh area was pilling and the topstitch tread was shredding! After taking the pants off, the entire seat area shows pilling just from the friction of rubbing against seats. I love the feel of the fabric, the color and fit and had hoped to wear these pants for several years, but now that i'm home they are going in the trash!

A bit short in the crotch, long in the leg. Where, oh, where are the wonderful zippered side pockets. The "secret' waist band pocket is small and probably will barely be able to hold a hotel key & credit card. Probably will keep them because I love the jacket/vest that matches.

was VERY disappointed in these pants..first of all they sat VERY LOW way below the navel and then they "stuck out" in the back! the description did not say that at all!! very upset...and since I had to take the time from work to go to the post office to mail these back, I (Magellans has NO prepaid returns) I will not reorder anything....you could make life a bit easier if you had better descriptions and a prepaid return policy.

These pants are great for travel because they are so lightweight and pack down to almost nothing. They are also nice enough for around town but durable enough for hiking. They fit me very well. I like the double pocket on the leg.

Ordered 2 different pants supposedly the same size. The cotton dobby pants fit fine and I can't even fit into these. Will be returning. Sad :( they otherwise look great and just what I wanted.

The fabric was lightweight and comfortable. I'd have preferred a zippered security area on leg pocket or within a pocket.

The fabric was nice and light, but folded wrinkles did not disappear when pants were hung. Also, tried two sizes and neither were suitable for my waist. Needs elastic in the waist.

I have these pants in sand and black. Purchased the black last year and the lighter shade recently. They fit well and coordinate nicely with the jacket/vest and take up little luggage space.

Perfect for travel when paired with the jacket/vest and skirt. Fabric is soft and very lightweight. Got the black and may order the khaki. Runs a tad small, so you might want to size up...especially in the jacket to allow room for a heavier top. Great product!

Fabric is wonderful: drapes nicely, fast drying, and cool. The legs are very wide, long pants very long (I'm 5'7" and they touch the floor in sandals). I will roll them up for kayaking...love the large pockets on thigh so I can reach my phone or camera without getting up. The large is equivalent to a generous 14.

Great pants for travel. Need some elastic in the waist for comfort and even more secret pockets.
