Pants for short people

I purchased these capris after a long and hard search for pants that would roll up to become capris - that would fit my size. Most "petite" inseams are listed at 29" - who are these people kidding? I'm 5'0, and my inseam is 25"; it was wonderful to find these capris (with the inseam listed on the site), which ostensibly roll up to become shorts, but for me, roll up to become capris! Other "petite" pants wind up being too long, and rolling up to become rather unflattering flood pants. I don't like the zip-off-to-shorts-or-capris type of pants, as the zipper always feels obtrusive to me, so I was really pleased with these pants. The only reason that I've given this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the butt is a bit baggy - but that's to be expected, as these are supposed to be capris, not pants, meant for taller people (grrr!) and their butts are probably correspondingly longer as well.

Love the design

I love the design of these pants. I hate the feel of zippers on those which zip off. In addition, once zipped off, those are left much shorter than I prefer. As soon as these arrived, I ordered a second pair in another color. I love all the pockets and the fact that the pants still look trim. I ordered the petite and have found them longer on me than a capri pant. I can't decide whether of not I want to shorten them. They now look like a cropped pant which I like, but shortening them would take some bulk from the rolled cuff. I think these will be perfect for summer travel. I can wash them in a sink, hang them to dry, and they'll be ready to wear again the next day.
