Great for Home and Travel
I have 2 of these and am going to order another. We use one in each bathroom at home and I take both with me when we travel and use one for the bathroom and one if there is a hall in the hotel room. I also gave as gifts to relatives. My elderly aunt particularly enjoys it and I know it helps her be safe. This item has the ability to hang on a doorknob or hook or handle can be used as a stand. I highly recommend it particularly in hotel rooms where you are not used to the layout and for those of us who seem to now have to get up in the middle of the night more often than we would like.

good in dark places
We had a power outage a few weeks ago and I get to know how dark our basement is! My girlfriend has these for her house, so I bought one for our basement - security! It lights up the whole basement - we have flashlights downstairs and this is just the handy-ess item for anywhere! I think that they are too big for travel though. Wonderful for anywhere in the house.

When things go bump in the night...
This light was great for rooms in which there were limited outlets. We use a night light at home, and this was great during the night.

A little light on the subject.
Tried this Light Owl at home and took a little while to get the right settings for time of light & sensitivity, but it works perfectly for my needs. Will take it on next trip!

Ive only used this once while visiting a friend. It worked great! A few steps down a long dark hall & the light came on & made it easy to see where I was going. I'm highly recommend this to those who travel!!!!! It will be a staple in my travel bag.
