iPad Jacket

I bought this case to protect my new iPad on a trip abroad. It totally lived up to my expectations and needs. It is light, easy to carry (with shoulder strap or handle), and securely protects my iPad. It even has several pockets for storage of papers, etc. I heartily recommend it!

I got one for myself. My husband liked it so much, he had to have one also. It is the only IPAD totter I have seen anywhere that has a handle and strap so you can carry it easily. We use it constantly. Thanks for a great product.

This iPad jacket turned out to be exactly what I'd been looking for, and at a reasonable price. I like the fact that it has a long, adjustable strap in addition to the short handle. I really love the fact that I can leave my iPad in its shell casing and it still fits inside this jacket. Indeed, I can even cram my Kindle, in its soft case, in there with the iPad so I can schlep both gadgets at the same time. I highly recommend this nifty little jacket!

I wish I'd bought two!

Good product. Good price. The case is a little loopy. There are attachment loops on the side and under the handle, but it is nothing a sharp knife can't fix.

Good quality, nice appearance, but a bit too small. It needs to accommodate an iPad WITH its own cover in place. Also difficult to get an iPhone out of its pocket. Otherwise, fine.

Bought one liked it bought another for a friend.

Wonderful for traveling. Excellent quality. Pockets are too tight for iPad & iPhone if they are in their own little jackets or covers.

The best protection for my ipad. It is light weight and fashionable. Very happy with it.

The main compartment is sufficient but the one for the cable and the iPhone is way too small to access easily. It is very stiff and does not easily accommodate other items.

iPad fits snugly in the jacket. Lots of pockets to carry cables, plugs, stylus and other stuff. Ideal for transporting the iPod. Sure beats carrying a briefcase and a laptop.

Item exactly as expected - will be useful for travelling

My husband and I purchased the Magellan iPad2 jackets and are very pleased we did. They are affordable and provide excellent protection for our iPads. We also have hard-shelled Zagg keyboards with cases for our iPads and they also fit inside the jackets. The Zagg cases don't protect the back of the iPads so the Magellan jackets provide the added protection we need.

With enough padding for protection, yet thin enough to slip into side pockets on luggage, this jacket worked perfectly on recent flight, cruise & travel through Canada. The extra pocket holds any small items (cord, etc.,) without extra bulge. Love the option of shoulder strap for carrying.

This a wonderful iPad case if you're mainly looking to carry your iPad. My original iPad fits snugly, and I can carry it in landscape position with the shoulder strap, which is the way I prefer. There is a handle to carry it in portrait. The strap is removable if I'm carrying the pad in another tote, suitcase, etc. There is an open outside pocket on the back suitable for papers or something thin, a zippered pocket on the front which will hold the charger and cord (but it's a little tight), and a small, open pocket for an iPhone which looks snug enough to hold the phone without it falling out (I don't have an iPhone, so I can't test it.) The zipper goes across the top and down 1 side, not both sides. You do have to consciously remove the iPad from the case--it doesn't slide right out, although the thinner iPad2 may do that. The price is excellent for what you get.

I had looked everywhere to find a bag to carry my iPad in. I found some but the cost was so high or quality cheap. I was so happy to find this bag, I ordered it and found that it meets my needs completely and protects my sizable investment. Perfect size and I know as I go on more trips it will be perfect. A great bag, all around.

I really like this case. It makes it easy to carry my ipad and not worry if it's going to get scratched. I like the handle.

After looking all over for an iPad bag with a shoulder strap, I saw the ad for Magellan's. The price was right, so I ordered it. A good, sturdy bag, it's nice-looking. It's just what I needed.

This is an absolute must. The manufacturer of this product made something top notch. Fits pad snug and securely. Attractive and help with organization of auxiliary wire, charger,etc

This is exactly what I wanted to store my iPad. It is compact but well padded. The iPad fits with the Apple magnetic cover on it. I would have rated it 5 stars if there was a little more room in the pockets for the charging cord. It will fit but makes it bulky. I do store an optical cleaner cloth in one of the pockets. I would definitely recommend it. (I found it a bit cheaper at our local Container Store).

I love this Ipad jacket! It is perfect for carrying around my Ipad. It is a little tight with our protector on it. The extra pockets are a great idea and hold my keys so don't have to carry around my purse also.

This is a great little carrier for both my IPAD and Phone. I travel a lot and this is so convenient to carry both together.

It is a great fit for the ipad2. It however will not suffice to put the charger and cord in it as it puts too much pressure on the interior in my opinion. As a protective carrier [including the magnetic cover apple sells] it is just fine. The carrying strap works well but makes it look too much like a 'murse' in my opinion.

I love the jacket. The small pocket is just large enough to put a Hot Spot in without it falling out. The zippered pocket is great to put is great for anything, and the longest pocket is great to slip papers in out of sight. If the IPad has an existing protective cover on it fits in without having to take the cover off if you are careful how you put it in. I love that you can sling it over you shoulder and not worry about it. I would recommend it to everyone.

Absolutely love this bag. I have the Apple portfolio case which fits perfectly in the "jacket". There's room for my phone and cables. I carry this when I travel and drop it another bag. Fits perfectly in the seat pocket on the plane and keeps everything organized so I won't forget anything.
