A good jacket and vest combination
This is the first convertible jacket I have purchased. I held off based on review of the others and this one seems to fit most requirements. It is a very light jacket and packs well. It would be good for tropical travel as a layer over a tee shirt or blouse. However, the sleeves are full enough to pull on over other jackets for a third layer in cooler climates. They can be rolled up to fit as needed or for a 3/4 sleeve look. There are just enough pockets for securing items and they are decent sized (I can never figure out what to put in all the pockets in other vests without looking lumpy.) The jacket is long enough to cover most tops and the adjustable waist is at the waist. The vest looks good with the sleeves zipped off. The only two things I would want would be a snap or tab at the waist to hold the jacket together without zipping it up. That way it can be open but not flapping loose. I would also like it in a sand of khaki color. The sage is a darker green then it appears in the picture but it goes well with dark slacks (navy or black) or denims. Overall very nice and useful.
