GSeat® Light Seat Cushion

I have a low back pain for the last two months due to frequent travel. I thought this one will work for me to help me to relieve my pain for cross pacific travel. But i was disappointed, it didn't work for me, the support is not enough, I am 85 kg.

Just back from Vietnam, over 40 hours in planes and airports each way. My wife said it was by far her best purchase.

Unfortunately this cushion was very uncomfortable. It was too firm and the space between the sections was too narrow for comfort. I tried it for two days in my car and experienced unusual soreness. I returned it.

I purchased this for someone who is overweight and it is not large enough for her. It also had very little padding. Although it is very portable, it doesn't seem very adequate for anyone who is not relatively thin.

The design is good but it's like sitting on a block of cement. I would have returned it but I lost the receipt. I put a light cushion over it and that helps but I wouldn't recommend it.

I had recently developed a problem sitting on virtually all of my chairs, particularly my 2011 Hyundai Azera carseat. Based on user reviews I purchased the G-seat. It worked extremely well, virtually eliminating my sitting issues.

I've been using this at home to see if it helps my back problems. So far, so good. It seems better than the inflatable cushion I got from Magellan earlier (which I like, by the way). I am looking forward to trying it on our next plane trip, That will be the true test.

I bought two of these for plane travel, but we haven't had a trip since they arrived. Meanwhile I've been sitting on one of them in my desk chair. It seemsto be helpful.

Product was well-made, but a bit "hard" to sit on.....seemed ok to begin with but after riding/sitting on it for a while, the term "Gel-cushion" seemed a bit overstated......

A 900 mile, two-day car trip was as comfortable as a 10 minute drive to the store. No back pain or tailbone discomfort. If you are on the fence - buy this cushion. It is worth every penny!

I bought two of these for airline travel. For me, it actually made my back hurt more than usual. For my husband, it didn't provide enough cushioning.

I sit up straight to practice my cello. I am sitting directly on those "sit bones." The chair padding is not enough to let me sit comfortably for an hour or more. This cushion is the perfect "cello cushion." I love it.

I have severe spine issues which make it difficult for me to sit. I used my gel seat in Church and was able to sit the entire service. It really puts your pelvis and spine in proper alignment. I would recommend this seat to anyone who has back problems which worsen when sitting.

My mother always says anywhere she sits is uncomfortable so I saw your Gel cushion. She used it on a six hundred mile trip and loved it.

I was hopeful this would be the thing to cushion my butt all the way to europe but when I tried it out just at home-yuch. Seemed very hard and hit my thighs in a wierd place. Back it went with no questions asked though!

This cushion does the job! Relieves lower back pain from sitting. Car travel is much more enjoyable and reading on a long cool day is no longer painful.

Due to several spinal surgeries, it is difficult for me sit comfortably. This gel cushion seems to help when sitting for any length of time.

Great Idea ! Lightweight, Folds up with a handle. I use a small clip for my carry on as it has a center handle you cant really see in the picture , and take it off when boarding. It really makes a difference on the long hauls. Feel less fatigued and legs feel better. Not SUPER CUSHY but just enough to even out uneven old airline seats especially in coach. Makes a funny hat too !

I bought it several years ago when I was traveling to Israel. I knew I would be sitting on many 'rocks'. I use it all the time. I agree it is easy to carry--folds with a handle. I'm on the web site to order one for a friend and another for myself.....I want one in each car.....right now I can't be without it! :)

I bought this for my Husband who has had back surgery and finds discomfort in pretty much every seat outside of our home. He loves it and takes it everywhere.

I am very pleased with its comfort and ease to take from place to place. I carry it with me when traveling across town or country. If I am going to be sitting for a long period, I know thatI will be comfortable.

This cushion is amazingly small and lightweight, and really does ease the ache of sitting in daylong classes on hard chairs. I love it! My only complaint is the price -- pretty pricey!

Compact and easy to pack and use on a plane or a hire car with hard seats, the unit will go a long way to make a long trip more comfortable.

After just four years of sitting in an office chair, I developed severe ischial tuberosity pain. I suffer from stenosis of the back and related nerve impingment. Recently, I had extensive spine surgery. I am finally close to being painfree, EXCEPT when traveling in the car or on an airplane. My physical therapist suggested sitting on something to suspend my tailbone to minimize pressure on my spine. I ordered the G-Seat from Magellan's and was thrilled! Not only did the G-Seat make the seating area comfy, but I was painfree on a 8 3/4 hr flight. I will always have this in my carry-on!

I received this as a gift and absolutely adore it. I have issues with my lower back that are easily aggravated by the wrong kind of seated position. I've used this cushion in cars and at my desk at work, as well as on a transatlantic flight. The seat (coupled with the First Class Sleeper) helped alleviate all back complaints on my last transatlantic. Highly recommend it!

I bought this gel seat cushion for my octogenarian Dad, who has used it as he traveled the world. Very comfortable, relieves pressure on your tailbone and legs. Highly recommend!

It's a bit bulky to carry on and gets to feeling almost as hard as the seat after sitting on it for awhile. I, also, purchased the inflatable seat cushion and give that one 4+ for comfort and packing.

This is a great cushion for low back problems - I use mine on all airplane flights and it fits into my carryon. I use it for all auto travel and even use one on my favorite chair at home.

I ordered the G-seat thinking it would be perfect to use on the many tours we take; however, I found that it was kind of bulky and heavy to carry so I have returned it.

I've been suffering with arthritis in my hip for the entire year and felt the long trip to Spain would present a problem. The ride was long, but the cushion made it 75% more comfortable. I loved it.

This is the third G-seat that I've had. The first one (about 4-5 years ago was the best. Most comfortable.Thin and Light. The second one was too heavy and hard, the last one ordered recently is lighter but too firm to be comfortable.

I recently developed an inflamed tailbone after a long cross-country flight (sounds funny, but trust me, it's anything but!) As a remedy I initially tried a cheaper seat cushion purchased at Pep Boys, but it wasn't that comfortable. Decided to try the G-Seat Light after reading the glowing reviews. It has been fantastic. I use it at home and for plane travel. Took a bit of getting used to at first, but it did the trick in helping to alleviate the soreness. Worth every penny.

I purchased the G-Seat cushion on a recommendation from a work colleague. What a difference it made! After two 17-hour flights I can't image flying without it again.

I bought this gel seat and I take it whenever I travel. It makes those hard, usually poorly cushioned airline seats much more bearable for long flights. The only criticism I have is that this product should come with a small, thin case or cover because I often fold it in my travel bag, and it is a bit bulky when folded. Having a cover would allow me to access other things in my travel bag more easily. Other than that, I like the product.

I can be seateh for hours and my back does not bother me at all.
