Go Girl

Brilliant! This will be a lifesafer. I'm infamous for the number of pit stops I need to make and washroom cleanliness is always a worry lurking in the back of my mind as we set out on a day of international sightseeing or frankly even using washrooms at North American service centers or worse, gas stations. Experimented with a long skirt as well as pants and it's very easy to manage. Suggestion: If possible, have some toilet paper or tissue handy in your other hand to wipe away drips when you finish otherwise you could get a few drops on clothing, but even then nothing serious. Getting the device back in the container is too much effort, and I would just as soon let it breathe a little, so I will carry it in a zip lock baggy inside another zip lock baggy containing emergency toilet paper (like the travel toilet tissue rolls I also bought). If you need to be even more discreet, stuff that in one of those small nylon water resistant drawstring bags that you can get at camping stores or baby supply stores. I am telling all my friends about it and if I had girls instead of boys, it would be a great stocking stuffer for the holidays!!

Purchased this for a second-round trip to a third world country where holes in the ground are the standard for toilets. It made for contortionistic positioning that never went well for me! So I gave the GoGirl a try, & it did work well - actually sort of suctions on with no leaks.Only thing is I could never get it folded back up for the cute little tube, so just used a ziplock. I definitely recommend this as a back up to have even in long car trips, for those just in case times.

I purchased "Go Girl" as insurance against the unusual restroom facilities I have encountered on several trips to Europe. I'm sure I'm not the only one who can't figure out how to use just a hole in the floor, especially when wearing slacks. I have practiced with "Go Girl" at home and find it easy to use. Many thanks to the person who invented this very useful product. I would suggest that you have toilet tissue ready before starting, to make the process easier.

I am always jealous when my husband can go "pee in the bushes" with no hassle. Well, now I can do it too! We often hike together on remote trails; I've had to use this once so far and it worked very well for me. So nice not have to practically fall over when crouching and trying not to wet your pants or undies! I always carry a little extra toilet paper; after use, I stuff it into the device (trash in - trash out when hiking), put it all into a ziplock baggy and clean everything when I get to a rest room or hotel. Other reviewers mention using it in countries that have a hole in the floor; what a great idea; been there and it wasn't pretty since I wear long pants, so this devise will always travel with me from this day forward anywhere I travel.

Though this product makes me giggle every time I use it, it has been invaluable. A recent hip replacement required certain restrictions when sitting; when out and about the Go Girl allowed me to "go" when ADA toilets were not available.

when you have such an item handy! I have this foldable one and another rigid 2-piece STP device and have used them many times. For me, this one is better used with skirts because I find it a bit troublesome when used with pants. Because this is so malleable, you really have to make sure it is pressed against you to avoid leakage and also with the slight hindrance of your pant's fly, it might collapse a bit or not be placed well enough whereas a solid one has a better seal and you can better feel where it's placed. The rubbery texture does make it difficult to get back in its tube so I wrap it in small piece of cloth or tissue and then can more easily slide it back into the tube - also, they're handy to have right there to use as a wipe. The pink colour is nice and it collapses compactly and does not retain any odour if it can't be rinsed out right away. STP devices such as this have saved me many times! I'm so very thankful for such an invention every time I use it! :)

I bought this item for a trip to Africa. Although it works fine with a little practice, I had two issues: 1) being in a situation where there is no access to water to rinse it after use, 2) it is difficult to get back into the tube for storage, although it did come with instructions.

Go Girl saved me at dusk in a gas station in Jordan when confronted with a lightless, fully enclosed stall around a hole in the floor. By standing facing forward with Go Girl and leaving the stall door open, I could see where to step and where to go without risking a squatting pratfall in the muck. My long shirttail--and husband standing guard--allowed some modesty. Prior practice at home helped to aim over the slacks. GoGirl also eased the pain from arthritic knees in airline toilets.

After visiting China where at the Great Wall, Forbidden City and other public sites the bathroom is a hole on the floor, working in remote pacific islands where a bathroom is non-existent, and being stuck in traffic up to three hours this is the best thing for women to have in their handbags and/or emergency kits. You can use discretely and avoids unnecessary embarassment. Just be sure you have an empty water bottle or container readily available.
