Perfect for the gym

This bag is perfect for the gym. I swim and needed a bag that was between a giant duffel bag and a large tote. I am able to carry two large towels, a change of clothes the essentials for swimming and showering. It has great long straps to be able to carry over the shoulder and it is one I can throw in the wash (cold water) to keep clean. I may order a second one for travel and swim clothes too.

Not suitable for checking

I was very disappointed when I received this bag and saw how very long the two non-detachable handles were and that there is not even a velcro strap to hook them together. Since I had ordered this bag to check as a second bag on my return trips from Europe, I now see that I would be very concerned about trying to check this bag due to the ultra-long handles which would probably be very prone to getting caught on luggage conveyor belts and causing the bag to be torn open. If shipping were not so expensive now, I would definitely return this bag as I see little use for it. The only really good things about it are the two front zipper pockets and the detachable shoulder strap.

Bag works well

I just completed using the bag as a carryon on a flight to Mexico City on which I needed to carry numerous pieces of electronic gear. It worked well. Is extremely roomy and yet folds up into a small package. The bag has a folding base that goes into the bottom of the bag that gives good support. The bag was just what I needed to hold the numerous items I didn't want to put in my luggage, my camera, etc. Served my purpose well.

This is a well made, easy to access weekend bag. I leave it packed with the basics and ready to go. Take it to the car even if we only plan a day trip - in case we change our mind and stay along the way.
