FRIO Duo Insulin Cooling Case

FRIO what a great find it worked perfectly on my five week holiday. Low maintenance and good quality.

This was a great find. I admit the first time using it things were no perfect, but it do the job on the flight. When we got to the room and no fridge it really proved its worth. Also learned to use very cold water out of the ice bucket. Thank you!

I expected the case to be very cool to the touch. Not so, it is not warm just slightly cool. I am still testing the case. I find it stays cool quite long, 4 days. I hate to experiment with very expensive insulin pen. So I am moving with care.

Reply from my son when I asked about the case:"Yup we got it and we have used it on a couple of camp outs and some traveling to ballgames and camp. Seems to work well. The ER doc in town is interested in using it for his son who has a med that needs to stay cool."

This item is totally worthless. I followed the instructions to a tee and instead of my insulin staying cold for a few days, it didn't even keep it cold for a few hours. I was on a plane and Fter three hours I checked the temperature of the insulin. It was warm! My insulin (3 pens) had to all be discarded. vERY disappointed and definitely will never order from you again. I certainly would hope that you will do the right thing and refund my money. Because not only will I throw that in the garbage, but the insulin is already in the trash. I lost over $100.00 in insuIn alone!

This was purchased as a gift for my friend that is a newly diagnosed diabetic. It's perfect for her pen. We looked in several stores and couldn't find anything. I was very happy to have resolved this issue for her!

Green folding med organizer is the best I have ever seen, despite warning inside re PVC components. (I am not eating it or heating it!), and the insulin cooling pockets are wonderful

I've used this on beach vacations where i had it in a beach bag for up to 6 hrs - insulin was cool and I could relax (as could my husband) about whether or not we had to leave early or that I might not get the meds I needed. I love the portability. Follow the instructions and its good to go!

This product worked great in hot summer temps hiking through the mountains. There is a bit of a learning curve, and not real sure I still have its use down perfectly. However, it definitely kept the insulin cool and performed very well.

My friend kept wondering about these, so I got him one for his birthday. Really likes it. He says that you have to make sure that the case can "breathe" for it to work properly. Also cannot combat a long car trip on a hot day. Still, it cut down on the number of times he's lugged a cooler around when traveling.

My husband suggested I try the item out before our trip to ensure it works as stated. I followed the instructions to the letter, but the pouch never became cold enough to cool my meds. I am returning it to you.

The Duo Insulin Cooling Case worked as advertised. We took a day trip to a neighboring city and my husband used it to keep his prepared needles and meds cool. Good buy!

This case works exactly as claimed and has allowed my husband to travel easily. A must for everyone with medications requiring refrigeration.

I put this to an extreme test. I use the Byetta pen and took this on a motorcycle trip in 105 degree heat with a heat index of at least 110. The pen was not cold at the end of the day but was not warm either which is amazing considering the conditions. I will take this on my next flight. I have used a neoprene lunch bag with the freezer packs in my carryon, and the pen was warm when I arrived at my destination.

Excellent case and works as stated. Fits my Epi-Pen as well and is easy for travel.

I frequently travel to Asia and one of the most important items on my hand-carried bag is my insulin cooling case. This case is a must for all travelling diabetics. What a great creation.

I once went to amazing lengths on a kayaking trip to Costa Rica trying to keep my insulin from being cooked in the tropical heat, and I only wish these cooling cases had been invented at the time. This product works great and the size is perfect. Not too big, but not so small that you can't find it in your bag. I also love that it's so low tech. Just add water and go! My kind of travel!

I was very satisfied with this product. My medication (AVONEX Beta-interferon) product matched you refrigerated pouch perfectly. It went through TSA security without a hitch, no problems. Compact and functional. Ideal product for my future vacations. MAHALO!!

Needed to keep some medicine refrigerated on a recent 2 week trip overseas. This product was excellent, and worked exactly as designed. There were no problems getting my medication through airport security in the US or overseas. Excellent product!

This is an excellent product! It does keep my medication cool to cold as advertized by the use of plain water. I told my physician about it so he can tell others.

I bought this case for my husband, a Type I Diabetic. It was great to have a small, flexible case to keep in the car or in our bag while in Kauai on vacation. His other travel kit for his insulin is pretty bulky and good for packing in his carry-on luggage, but this case was perfect for our day trips.

In the past, travelling was a concern because of my husband's insulin shots. We just spent 23 days in Europe this September and used these Duo Insulin Cooling Cases successfully! At most hotels, he simply prepared the cases and left them on or near the air conditioning units --- and his medication always remained cooled. We were so pleased with this product that we've told his doctor about this product so other patients will know about it!
