Worth it!
By IRENE, PA in November, 2012 -
Perfect. Used it on flight going from Baltimore to CA & back and it really helped. No swollen ankles. No problems with sliding around. Just ordered the larger one for my trip to HI next year. I now use the smaller one in the office.

Foot Stool
By A A., Temecula, CA in May, 2012 -
My husband cannot go to the movie theaters w/out having to stand and walk around after a few minutes because the seats are very uncomfortable. I purchased 2 foot stools for us which made a world of difference to him and his condition. We can now goout to enjoy the movies together. Great little footstools!

Folding Foot Rest
By Eizabeth P., Lincoln, NE in May, 2012 -
I have spine issues and plan to fly to Sweden this summer. My PT suggested the Folding Foot Rest so I ordered one. The premise is a good one and the item is compact and would be easy to carry along. However, I returned mine because it slides all over the place. I can imagine that the benefit of elevating your feet in the plane would be negated by the stress on the feet and legs to keep it in place. I wish it were scored on the bottom or had some type of rubberized strips on the edges that touch the floor.
-
Ingenious little item!
By Eva T., Savannah, GA in April, 2012 -
I bought one of these for use on flights, as I'm very petite, and my feet never touch the floor. Perfect! No more strained back or legs, level lap, and very comfortable. Because of the way it's made, it can't collapse, it's lightweight enough to drop in my purse, and people are fascinated by it. On one flight, my seatmate, also petite, asked to see it, then handed it across the aisle to a friend travelling in her large group to see. My little footrest got passed all around, and everyone wanted to know where I got it. Great item for relieving stress on your legs (and back!), and not a bad conversation piece, either!

Don't get on a plane without it!
By Julie M., Glen Ellyn, IL in March, 2012 -
I am only 5 feet tall and overseas flights are very hard on my knees because my feet don't touch the ground. I've taken this this on every flight I've ever been on for the past 7 years and it's GREAT! Easy to open with one hand and easy to close with one hand! I just throw it in my tote bag and off I go! Thanks for savinig my knees!!!
-
Great for Us Shorties!
By Jacalyn S., West Bloomfield, MI in January, 2012 -
I've had one of these for years, but I happened to leave it behind on my last vacation in December. I ordered another one right away. When you are short, your knees can hurt from sitting a long time in a regular height seat. This prevents that. I even bring it to the movies!
-
Footrest
By Wendy T., Seattle, WA in December, 2011 -
I love this traveling footrest for travel or seminars where sitting for a long time is a strain on my short legs. I love this enough that, having forgotten it a couple of times after using it, I've replaced the lost footrest now for the third time!
-
Best Ever
By Kay R., Longview, WA in December, 2011 -
This step is the best ever! I am short and it has made flying comfortable for me. I love the way it folds up and fits into my bag. I lost my first one and quickly ordered another.
-
relief for long flights
By mary L., dartmouth, MA in November, 2011 -
this little footrest was handy on a recent overnight plane flight. It took a bit of adjusting to get the right angle for comfort but it works! I am 5'4" and I have always suffered on long flights with nowhere for my feet/legs to rest. This is a great product. It is a bit heavy but it really helped to get a good night's rest. I will bring it with me again.
-
Perfect foot stool
By Jane C., IL in October, 2011 -
I have had one of these little foot stools for years and it has traveled everywhere with me. I take it on planes, trains and buses. It is easy to pack, simple to use and the right height. The one I just bought is a gift for someone who wanted to steal mine. I highly recommend these for anyone who does not have long legs!
-
Too heavy
By Jan J., Bean Station, TN in October, 2011 -
I was surprised this foot rest was as heavy as it is. It is just as I expected, but heavy to carry when not using.
-
Fabulous product!
By Jane S., Seattle, WA in October, 2011 -
Just got home last night from 15 hours on planes. I found the footrests made sitting that long so much more comfortable. I'm short and having that kind of support was very, very helpful. I bought some for Christmas gifts, too.
-
Great for those with short legs
By Dawn A., Wrangell, AK in August, 2011 -
This is the perfect item for those who travel and have short legs. It is just the right height to help prevent back ache and swelling of the ankles. It even works great at home while on the computer or at any table. Wish is was a little lighter in weight.
-
footstool

Relief for short legs
By Margaret M., Dunkirk, MD in June, 2011 -
One of the best travel products I've used. Not only do I have short legs but I also have restless leg syndrome and this handy footrest helps take the strain off my back and eases the problems with restless legs. I won't fly without it!

A footstool You Can't Leave Home
By Theresa C., Sammamish, WA in June, 2011 -
I am 4'9 inches and this has been a life saver. I used to get terrible backaches because my feet could not touch the floor but since I bought this stepstool, I am quite comfortable. I take it to restaurants. movie houses, lectures, even on boats. It is easy to carry in my purse and I keep one in the car, one in the house. I've had one for 6 years and it is still in great shape.
-
Lifesaver
By Anonymous, Marietta, GA in June, 2011 -
This was the fourth foot rest I've purchased from Magellan's -- two were given as gifts, two were for me. One of mine is always in my car as my on-the-go foot rest -- easy to grab for use in movie theaters, restaurants, churches, planes, etc. The other is in my desk at work so it's always available for use in the cafeteria and meeting rooms which don't have adjustable height chairs. They have saved me from hours of pain and swelling caused by dangling feet and pressure on the backs of my legs.
-
An end to restless legs
By Margaret M., Dunkirk, MD in May, 2011 -
I travel the world for my work and this foot rest keeps me sane -- I suffer from Restless Leg Syndrome and go crazy if I fly without it! Once when I left it in the seat back pocket, I had to run back and beg the cleaning crew to find it for me.
-
Foot rest great for knees!
By Lisette B., Baton Rouge,, LA in May, 2011 -
It can fit in my purse so I take it everywhere (almost). Crossing knees at meetings for long periods is terrible for our knees so this rest is a real "knee saver."
-
folding foot rest
By Lorraine R., Highland, CA in March, 2011 -
I have had one for many years and thought I had lost it so ordered another and then found the first one. I use it all in church as it helps my back to put my feet up.. I carry it with me at all times.. I would be really lost with out it. It is the handiest thing I have ever had..I gave the information about the order to a friend and she is going to be ordering one.. It is really an asset to have..
-
Little treasure
By Marie F., Burbank, CA in March, 2011 -
Some people might think, "What kind of footstool is a little thing like that?" well, it is such a little helper. Besides a foot stool for short people, I use mine every day day to tie my shoes, and putting on my sox. You see, I am old and it is a real strain to reach the floor any more. Being small and light weight I can easily take it with me if I want to.
-
Great for short people
By Jim T., Abilene, TX in January, 2011 -
My wife has had one of these for many many years and still doesn't go anywhere without it. She also has told numerous people how much it helps her back since she is only 5' tall. Alas, she left it at a dinner and so now we much order another! She is distraught, but thankfully they are still available and at the same reasonable price!
-
Relief for the vertically challenged
By Gail P., HI in January, 2011 -
I have had several folding foot rests since I've accidently left them somewhere. I wouldn't travel without one. For short-legged people the strain on the back is exacerbated by not having the support of our feet on the floor. This campact little stool solves that problem and goes with me to the theaters, restaurants, doctors's office for long waits, and, of course, on the airplane. It makes a huge difference.
-
Clever and Useful
By Marika A., CA in November, 2010 -
Sturdy and surprisingly has some weight. But it is not too heavy to carry in my purse. Works well for me, relieving lower back strain. This was a good purchase for me.
-
Great leg and back comfort in flight
By Bobbie Y., AR in November, 2010 -
I used the foot rest on a recent 10 hour trip to Europe, and back home again. For the first time in all my travels I did not have the back strain and uncomfortable leg issues on these long flights. Was able to change positions during the flight - very comfortable!. only suggest would be able to have the sides lock a little better when having to move it around. Would definitely recommend to friends.
-
Good Product
By Marian B., Soldotna, AK in October, 2010 -
I'm a petite woman and can seldom get comfortable on long flights. I've resorted to using my purse or backpack as a foot rest in the past with varying results. The Folding Foot Rest came in very handy on my most recent trip. It definitely out performed my make shift foot rests. The foot rest was easy to fold, store, and use. It will be a part of my standard travel gear from now on. I do wish the foot rest was a bit longer or wider but other than that it performed well.
-
Every flight
By Janet B., CA in September, 2010 -
I have had this folding foot rest for a year now and it goes on EVERY flight. It slips easily in the outside front pocket of my carry -on. I learned about it from another short woman who was using it in a doctor's office reception area. I used to stack two airline pillows under my feet for a footrest, but now there are no extra airline pillows.
-
Footrest
By Leslie V., Valparaiso, IN in July, 2010 -
Good height, easy to use. The only problem was the top surface is very slippery, and my feet would keep slipping off. I am going to put some nonslip tape on the top for my next trip.
-
Practicaly Handy
By Vivian N., Calgary, AB in July, 2010 -
This foot rest is secure when in use and compact and light to carry when needed. Definately a good buy.
-
very compact
By melaine c., florence, SC in July, 2010 -
Great little foot rest for the plane. Tried it out at home first but have not flown long distance since the purchase. It really is compact and folds easily into a carry on bag.
-
Folding foot rest is amazing
By Pat M., IT in July, 2010 -
Just bought this and on first use stepped off a 10.5 hr transatlantic flight with no puffy ankles for the first time ever! Would recommend this to anyone as being worth every penny.
-
Finally! Sitting comfortably at meetings and in waiting rooms
By Kate H., Tucker, GA in July, 2010 -
The folding foot rest has made an incredible difference in my comfort when I need to sit in a meeting or a waiting room for any length of time. I am only 5 feet tall, so the footrest effectively brings the floor up to a comfortable height for me. It's lightweight - I keep it in my car, and pop it into my purse whenever I think I'll need it. The only improvement I might make is to make it a little bit wider (from end to end), to allow more foot room, although that might add too much to the weight
-
YES YES YES!!!
By Ali H., Las Vegas, NV in June, 2010 -
I'm a petite woman & I usually squish my purse under my feet when I fly so I can be comfortable. It works but is uneven & I broke a travel purfume once & stunk the whole plane :( I used the folding foot rest on my lastest 6 hour flight, & it was great! Folds easy, unfolds easy, plus small enough to slide into the tiny font pocket on my carry on. I could sit still & rest so much better with my legs bent properly so I could sit back. Highly recommend if your legs hurt on a flight.
-
Just Right!
By Linda H., Berkeley Springs, WV in June, 2010 -
I read some of the reviews on the products before I ordered and several mentioned that it was too small. I went ahead an ordered 2 of them, thinking one for each foot G. I took only one on a 2 week vacation, air and bus transportation and I LOVE IT!! Both feet fit and without them being close together. My shoes did hang over some (more comfortable) but it stayed in place just fine...I highly recommend this one. I only took one with me because of the limited space in the suitcase.
-
Folding stand serves more than one purpose!
By Robert M., FL in May, 2010 -
I use this neat little stand to elevate my portable DVD player on a plane. Keeps me from having to angle my neck down so much (uncomfortable). Stand sets up and locks in position. All in all it's very good. If I could change one thing, I'd put a non slip top and small rubber feet on it to help hold it in place, but a great little stand.
-
Not just for airplanes
By Elizabeth H., NY in May, 2010 -
I had been thinking of getting the Folding Foot Rest for some time, as I have a bad knee that appreciates stretching out. I used the foot rest at a three-day meeting where the chairs were just a bit too high, and I was much more comfortable than I would have been without it. Folded, the foot rest easily fits into my briefcase. I plan to use it regularly.
-
Great little stool
By Mike H., Denver, CO in May, 2010 -
The stool is great way to relieve pressure on your legs during long flights. Specially for us folks with short legs. It folds up small enough to easliy fit in you carry on luggage. When open on the floor it leaves plenty to move things around if needed. Beats the tar out of having to rest your feet on your carry on.
-
Not heavy at All
By Kim R., Victoria, BC in May, 2010 -
I know there are some comments about weight, it does have to weigh something. I found the weight to be irrelevant I'm 5 feet and it's like carrying an older cannon camera by comparison. The benefits far await slipping one of these into your purse..
-
great item!
By Carmelita M., Aptos, CA in April, 2010 -
bought this for travel but it works great at the computer. my neck pain is gone!!!
-
great item!
By Carmelita M., Aptos, CA in April, 2010 -
This is perfect for the airplane but it is also great for sitting at the computer. I have no more neck problems.
-
Compact Foot Rest
By Donna S., Los Angeles, CA in April, 2010 -
This foot rest works well. It is a little heavier then I would like and I wish it was just a bit wider. I have used it on two trips and it has worked well
-
reduce back pain
By diane t., CA in April, 2010 -
I suffer from back and sciatic pain and used the folding foot rest on a recent 6 hr. car trip. I propped my foot up which helped to alleviate much of the pain in my back and leg. I also used the foot rest during a 12 hr. flight to and from Japan, plus I sat on the self-inflating seat cushion (#IF754). I was able to walk normally after the flights (no limping) - even after sitting in a confined space for 12 hrs.
-
Execellent
By Pat C., Lebec, CA in March, 2010 -
This was just what I was looking for. When I go to meetings it is the perfect thing for me to put my feet on. With this product I can then put my tablet, books, etc on my lap for reading and taking notes. Thanks, Pat C.
-
eases leg pain
By E. S., Fort Collins, CO in March, 2010 -
Due to my short stature, I usually experience knee, leg and back pain on long flights. This device truely did help. I was immediately more comfortable while using it. The only drawback is that sometimes it does slip around which can cause the legs to collapse.
-
Great foot rest
By Delsie F., Federal Way, WA in March, 2010 -
We just took a very long plane ride from Washington State to Florida this week. This folding foot rest was such a great relief for my legs. I have problems with putting pressure on the back of my legs, and this puts your feet up about 4 inches off the ground, taking off all the pressure. It was so great, I have a coworker who is very short and has trouble traveling also. I will defiinalely recommend this product to her.
-
good idea
By Steph A., TX in March, 2010 -
sure helped me on a recent, long flight. However, I found it better to turn it length-wise. Regardless, more helpful than using my purse as a prop....
-
Short legs? Increase your comfort on airplanes.
By Christine S., CO in March, 2010 -
I've bought several of these foot rests because, unfortunately, i've lost them more than once. This really makes a difference for me during flights, lifting my legs up just a few inches to reduce the pressure on my lower back. My only complaint is that i would prefer the rest was 4 inches wider.
-
No more sore feet and legs!
By Toni J., Golden, CO in February, 2010 -
Bought two, one for my mom and of course I had to have one!! Just got back from a plane trip and put it in my purse and got it out after take off and I can not tell you the difference it made for me!! I love it and when people see it they love the idea and have never seen anything like that before!! I tell them Magellan's, you can have ont too!!
-
Best $25 I have ever spent!
By Gloria L., Southlake, TX in February, 2010 -
I purchased one of these out of a SKyMall catalog years ago - I am 4"11"" and my sister and mother had vericose vein problems - I did not want to experience what they did - I take this everywhere - I use it at church, conferences, planes, etc. Now that I am over the big 50 it places my song book, bible, etc. like an extended arm would. The hardest part was to quit crossing my legs and after awhile now I don't have to. It is plastic so get it in place before the room gets quiet!
-
Best Travel Gear Ever!
By Linda C., Las Vegas, NV in February, 2010 -
I recently took a trip to Ireland where I first tried this amazing product. I typically have horrendous hip pain after a long flight, but by having my feet up and my knees aligned with my hips I didn't suffer one bit. I even take it on short trips because it's so easy to fold up and take along. If you have any doubts about this item, toss them out the window & enjoy your pain free trip.
-
Cheap Leg Extensions!
By Kim R., Sidney, BC in January, 2010 -
I am 5' 1" and finally something to I can be comfortable without being fidgity trying to get comfortable...great in a movie theater as well!
-
Great
By Lynne L., Los Angeles, US in January, 2010 -
LOVE IT I take it everywhere and anywhere I have to sit for extended periods.....especially helpful on airplanes
-
great support
By Suzanne A., GA in January, 2010 -
This folding foot rest is easy to transport in a purse/shoulder bag on flights. Really helps us "shorter" people when flying. Immediately made me sit more comfortably in the seat when I started using it on a recent flight.
-
Useful and compact
By S Y., IL in December, 2009 -
This foot rest is very compact, but does add some weight to your carry-on. It was useful on my recent 8 hr flight in coach, as I was able to change my foot and leg positions frequently. I even tried it with only one leg in the open position on the frame of the rest - the sloped position added yet another variation to the positioning of my feet. I would recommend it, but remember it is not really that lightweight.
-
The tall and short of it
By Linda D., Coquitlam, BC in December, 2009 -
I'm tall, my traveling companion is short. This footrest suits us both. I can now relieve the pressure on my back and thighs during long flights, and her feet no longer dangle. We have retro-fitted the footrest with some non-slip material on the bottom of the two "legs" so that the footrest stays in place on smooth surfaces.
-
NIce footrest
By Eileen K., Orinda, CA in November, 2009 -
This footrest is perfect for short people to have a much more comfortable flight. It folds nice and flat for transporting. The only slight drawback was it gets in the way of seat-persons in your row trying to get out. Oh, well. I wish I had bought it ages ago when I first saw it.
-
Added comfort
By Bob R., Millersville, MD in November, 2009 -
My wife isn't very tall, 5'3", and used this on four flights this weekend and reported that it made a huge difference in her comfort.
-
Helps sore back muscles
By Kathy H., KS in November, 2009 -
I have fibromyalgia and I'm always looking for something to make life a little more comfortable. This little foot rest helps take the pressure off my back. It's easy to carry from place to place in the heavy plastic zip-lock bag it came in. Recommended by The Fibromyalgia Network and I'm happy I took their advice and purchased this item.
-
Great for economy and first class, too
By Elizabeth T., Elko, NV in November, 2009 -
I actually use this more when I get upgraded to first class that in economy. The first class seats are so deep that my knees start to ache! Several people have asked about this footrest for themselves or someone they know.
-
Comfortable
By Merle H., Kaneohe, HI in October, 2009 -
I haven't gone on my trip yet but I am using this at home when I sit at my desk. The foot rest allows my feet not just my toes to touch the "floor."
-
FABULOUS
By Becky B., Gleneden Beach, OR in September, 2009 -
This is MORE than a foot rest. I use it in hotel rooms to put my travel makeup mirrors on. Depending on the mirror I am using, I set it length-wise or sideways and rest the travel mirror on top of it. Voila! the mirror is FINALLY high enough so I can SIT at the desk and put on my makeup! No more standing by windows holding my 10X mirror, while trying to handle both mirror and makeup, or slouching real low and hurting my back at a desk. Folds flat in suitcase.
-
Take the pressure off...
By Jan K., Columbia, MD in September, 2009 -
Short legs, long trips with very little wiggle room...great for airline trips. My legs felt much better upon destination arrival. Folds to fit in VB purse or back pack. Don't let this one get away. Buy it now for future travel. You will be a very happy traveler.
-
Good idea, but not wide enough
By Jeanne D., FL in August, 2009 -
I've used this on long flights and at my desk, but it's very frustrating to have to keep my feet in one position or have them slip off the sides. How many people actually sit with their feet wedged together as in the photo? I don't. The surface needs to be a couple of inches wider. It's also heavy for a travel item.
-
Bought for my mother
By JL B., Seattle, WA in August, 2009 -
I have used a folding foot stool for over 30 years and my whole family wanted one. I ordered this one for my mom who is in her mid-80's. For the first time in YEARS, she was able to sit all day at a conference and still walk easily to the dining room. Plus, it fits in her purse for all occasions.
-
Every short person needs this one!
By Sharon W., Portland, OR in August, 2009 -
If you rest your feet on your carry-on luggage when flying, then this is the product for you. I'm 5'-2" and this well-designed high-quality foot rest is perfect for travel. It folds easily but stays open when you want it to. I only wish it came in its own travel bag so I didn't have to worry about getting my other things dirty when stowing it in my luggage. I use a grocery bag until I get around to sewing up something....
-
a little foot rest goes a long way
By sherry s., portland, OR in August, 2009 -
I am short and have grown tired of using different items to prop under my feet at the movies, in restaurants, and most especially, when flying on red eyes cross country. This collapsible foot rest is compact enough to fit in my purse. When my aunt, whose feet are definitely bigger than mine, heard me talking about it, she said she wished she could have one to rest just one foot on during card games. I bought her one and she , too, is thrilled with it. A great product!
-
Won't Travel without it
By Ginny M., Bonita Springs, FL in August, 2009 -
This little footrest not only provides a floor that your feet can reach, it also gives you the little lift that allows you to exercise your feet and legs during the flight to keep everything happy. And it is so convenient and easy to carry, I've bought them for several friends who travel.
-
love my foot rest
By s k., san pablo, CA in July, 2009 -
I'm 5' tall and started having problems sitting without my back or butt bothering me. I tried the foot rest on a 3 hour flight and it worked well. I'm hoping it'll do as well on a long flight. It's compact and fit easily in my purse.
-
Too convenient to do without
By Christina H., MD in July, 2009 -
At 5'2" many seats are too high to sit comfortably in for long periods. This compact, easy to carry foot rest made an incredible difference in my comfort level on recent 14-hour flights.
-
Tired of pain from feet dangling above aircraft floor ?
By Gary B., Cincinnati, OH in July, 2009 -
It's quite uncomfortable to have the edge of the seat cusion digging into the backside of the knee for those who are shorter than the "average person" aircraft seats are designed for, particularly on long flights. Unfold one of these and "raise the floor to meet your feet". Downside is they are a bit heavy in carry on baggage.
-
What comfort!
By Evelyn L., Oceanside, NY in July, 2009 -
This product has changed my life. I used to be uncomfortable when I attended conferences because my feet never reached the floor when I sat for extended periods of time. Now I can sit in comfort and my back dose not hurt the next day. Great invention.
-
Comfortable at last
By Jennifer H., Shawnigan Lake, BC in June, 2009 -
I am 5'2" and am rarely comfortable on ANY seat as they are all made for tall people. I bought this for the plane but use it everywhere, at the dining table, my desk and flying. I can now stretch my legs out on the plane and have my feet supported without straining my back.I just bought a second one so I can have one in my office too.Wonderful!
-
Folding Foot Rest
By Patty T., KS in May, 2009 -
Great product for us short legged people. I actually started using it before my vacation when sitting on the futon. Stays open when it should and folds fast and easy when ready to go. Folds flat to slip in bag, purse or pocket.
-
Fabulous --- Multipurposed
By Debrah N., New Orleans, KY in April, 2009 -
I love how solid it is build and the fact that it is very easily collapsible. I purchased this to use both on the airplane as well as those times when I am struggling with a tummy ache in the bathroom. Very helpful
-
HELP FOR SHORT LEGS
By FLIP A., MONTGOMERY, AL in April, 2009 -
THIS FOOT REST IS TERRIFIC. I PUT SOME RUBBER ON THE FEET SO IT WOULD NOT SLIDE ON SLICK FLOORS.
-
Great for shorties!
By Renee M., NY in April, 2009 -
Great product!!Especially for short-legged people!
-
Folding Travel Foot Rest
By Celia M., AZ in April, 2009 -
The best investment for anyone with short legs on long-haul flights to Europe and beyond. I have had it for a year now and do not travel without it. My problem is the coach seats hit behind my knees and this causes discomfort and ankle swelling. Easy to pack and well worth the money!
-
Folding Foot Rest
By Anonymous, BC in April, 2009 -
I'm using the Foot Rest while surfing the "net". It has made the difference between cutting off circulation on back of both legs to not! Have been looking for something like this for years! It will definitely be part of my travelling as well.
-
Very Helpful!
By Debbie M., IL in March, 2009 -
I have short legs so sitting on an airplane for many hours is uncomfortable. This was very helpful, and propping my feet up felt grate. It folds up flat and slips into a carry on or purse very easily.
-
It's just what I needed!
By Belinda L., Albuquerque, NM in February, 2009 -
I am completely satisfied with my foot rest - I wouldn't change a thing. It's compact, easy to open & close, lightweight and yet sturdy enough that I don't worry about it breaking.
-
Now I can sleep on planes!
By Beth G., NC in February, 2009 -
As a short woman my feet never reached the floor on airplanes so that I would be miserable, especially on overnight flights to Europe. This small folding footrest has changed that. It easily fits in my carry on or large purse, and once I have it beneath my feet I have comfort I never had. And I can even sleep on those long flights because my legs are supported. This is the absolute best travel accessory I've ever purchased.

great for us shorties!
By Tracy O., Seattle, WA in February, 2009 -
I am 5'4", which is not real short, but I always have problems staying upright in my seat. This foot rest brings the ground up to me and I can keep from sliding down in my seat. it is compact and not too heavy. it is very sturdy - I even use it at home. great buy!!

No Swollen Ankles
By Mary N., Seattle, WA in February, 2009 -
I purchased this footrest for a long-haul flight, 5.5 hours, Seattle-New York, connecting to DC. My previous flight to L.A., 2,5 hours had resulted in swollen feet and ankles. I'm happy to report that there was no swelling of any kind with the combo of support knee highs (also Magellan) and this footrest. Can't wait to try it out to Europe this summer. It fit into my carry-on easily. Only problem was seat mates knocking it over when going to the restroom.

Must have for short legs
By Anonymous, Westfield, NJ in January, 2009 -
I always have a problem with the circulation in my legs when traveling and this handy item proved the perfect solution. It is easy to pack, folds out quickly and is the perfect size for those like me with short legs. I got one for my equally petite Mom for Christmas and she uses it while sitting at her desk on the computer or sewing. Great item!

Helpful for bus tours
By Anonymous in January, 2009 -
I carefully read reviews before deciding to purchase this footrest. I knew that there would be pros and cons. True, the footrest is a bit heavy and my carry-on backback by itself works as well for a footrest on a plane as this product. Where I found the folding footrest especially helpful, were the many hours we spent on the bus touring. Their fold-down footrests didn't always work, and it was very helpful to have my own footrest handy. The footrest stayed on the bus. No extra weight to carry.

Shorties rejoice!
By Melinda J., Wilmington, NC in November, 2008 -
I'm a five foot tall road warrior, on a plane to somewhere every week. This product has made plane travel comfortable for me, for the first time ever! It fits in my purse and I never leave home without it. I'm back to order one as a birthday present for a girlfriend.

Ummmmmm Wonderful!
By Victoria B., Goshen, CT in November, 2008 -
I purchased this foot rest to take with me on a trip .... now I carry it from room to room, use it daily at my desk as I work and wouldn't think of getting on a plane without it. I was always uncomfortable with the pressure on the back of my legs that sitting caused, now I can sit and work for hours uninterrupted! YEA!!! This is a great product and I highly recommend it for anyone who travels or has any problem with leg discomfort while sitting.
