Pricy but works

I used the charts Magellan provided that showed that this would work in the three different countries we were visiting. It was with peace of mind that I have used it now in Amsterdam and Prague both with a breathing machine and my iPad. Now off to Scotland!

Good item but beware it's limitations

This is a good surge protector but it is NOT a voltage converter. It will only protect 220-240 volt items from electrical surges. It will not "convert" 220 to 110. If your device is only 110, it will be fried when plugged in, even with this surge protector. Don't confuse the two. It does act as a very good grounded, two plug adapter as well as a very good surge protector. Worth the money but just understand it's purpose before using it.

Wonderful device for peace of mind while charging laptop overnight in dicey electrical conditions (frequent power outages). Good grip in outlet without falling out while holding the heavy AC laptop plug. One suggestion: add a clip so the optional grounding pin does not get lost.

Very useful product

We just returned from two weeks in Europe. We used the EuroSurge to plug in our laptop at eight different locations. We encountered no problems, and we could use the same outlet to charge one of our other electronic devices (cell phone, camera battery, etc.). Electrical outlets are sometimes scarce in European hotels, so that's a big plus.

Best Plug for electronics

I got this plug to charge my laptop, camera battery charger and use a travel hair straightener. All of these were dual voltage so I just needed this adapter and it works great. I like the indicator lights that tell you it's okay to use. Never had any problems. Traveled in Turkey, Egypt, all over Europe and Morocco.
