After reading the reviews, I thought I would give the skirt a try. I ordered both black and burgundy. The sash actually fit differenty in the two colors. The burgundy one was much lower. I played a lot, even tying the sash in the back to see if that would help. I didn't find that I could make it work. The fabric is thin, showing every bump and underwear line. They were returned.

Loved this so much I've already come back for another color. Great for travel -- no iron needed! I've been wearing it to work too, because I'm required to carry a beeper. So many of my nice skirts lack a pocket.. this one is so handy!

great idea w/ the belt

I love this skirt but gave it a 4star because the belt took some adjusting to get it right. I finally realized that it is an inch or so below the waistband of the skirt so no matter what I did to line it up with the waistband it wasn't going to stay. However, I do like the idea of a zipped cumberband, and a substantial size, not those small little keycard pockets and I love the color fig - it's burgandy. I ended up buying the top, pants and dress and they all fit perfectly in small even tho I wear a size 10. Skirt and dress hang a little below the knee. I had to hem the pants a lot!! I like the total outfit that I'm going to order it all in black now.

nice skirt w/ cumberbund

I had a little difficulty adjusting the tie to make it look right. It doesn't line up with the waistband but is sewn an inch or two below the waist band. I do like the concept of the hidden pocket there. Once I got over the fact that it didn't have to line up, I was okay with the skirt. I ordered in 10 and it's a perfect fit. A little below my knee but that's okay. You can also tie it around the back instead. It hangs very nicely and the color is lovely. I ordered everything in this line in fig which is a burgandy/wine color (I thought figs were black on the outside and green on the inside so couldn't figure out how you came up w/ the color for fig but there are many types of figs.) This skirt is a bargain on sale.
