Essential Matte Jersey Dress

It was too big. The fig color was lovely and the pockets were nice, but I had to return it. I asked if there was any others in the same color and size when I called in and was told it was sold out. So that should tell ya everything. Hope I can get it another time.

The dress is exactly what I have been looking for. The length is not too long nor too short for us over 50 gals. It has style and great colors. Unfortunately I will send mine back as it is too large. The small appears to fit more like an 8-10. I do hope there will be a 6-8 available.

I am in my late 40's and could stand to lose about 50 lbs. I bought this dress and when it came, I put it on and it looked like I had lost 10 lbs! The wrap over portion fits a bit loose over my stomach so nicely hides the bits and pieces that I need covered up. Talk about comfortable! Nothing is binding on this dress. I could sleep in it! The fabric is alos flattering, unlike the "Travelers" brand of another popular clothing company. I am 5'6" and this hits just below my knees. Perfect length and the skirt is flirty and fun. I bought it in black. It runs big so I tried to exchange it but they were out of black so I ordered the plum colored one. I called Magellan's to find out when they were going to be back in stock and I was told they were discontinued. I took a chance and checked back a week later and the black was back in stock so I bought two! When I purchased, it showed they were both in stock. Then I checked to see when my order would arrive and noticed they only sent one and the other is on back order. I hope it comes available so I can wear these for years to come!

I bought this dress in the colour Fig and size Large. I am 5'5" tall, have a 38D bust and weigh 80 kg (176 lbs) with most of my weight carried in my tummy, hips and bottom. It fits perfectly, falling to just below my knees and is most flattering for my body shape. The rouching across the tummy hides a multitude of sins! The material is very soft and feels lovely. It is not clingy. I will be taking this dress to Thailand to wear out at night for dinner but will also wear it for daytime and night time occasions at home. In fact I love it so much that I've also purchased it in Black and Fig in a Medium size as I'm losing weight and am afraid that they will stop making it if I wait until I'm actually a Medium size.

I am a full figured woman in my 40's and I need to lose about 50 lbs but I put this on and lbs seemed to melt away! It is extremely flattering, doesn't cling, hides belly bulges and doesn't allow cellulite to show through the cloth like some fabrics such as Chico's traveler clothing does. I ordered it in my normal size and it seems a bit big so I just ordered it one size smaller. Once it arrives, I will decide the one to keep. This is truly the best clothing purchase I have ever made!

I was skeptical thinking this was one of those flimsy light fabrics that would feel like plastic & melt in hot heat; BUT surprisingly it's a beautiful color and a substantial fabric, not too thin and not too thick, hangs so nicely and moves easily. I liked it so much I went back and ordered the whole thing in black (pants, top, skirt & dress). I had ordered all the pieces in fig (which is burgandy). The only complaint is that the length of skirt and dress is just below my knee and I prefer it at knee level but it looks so good on that you don't notice the length. LOVE all the zipper pockets in everything AND the bonus surprise for me was how easily this stuff washes, no wrinkles whatsoever. I threw everything into the wash at the next vacation stop including jeans, sweatshirts, etc. and the whole outfit came out very nice. Wash on gentle cycle. I did hang and not put in dryer (I didn't want to push my luck!)

Took this dress on a cruise, ended up practually living in it, can be dressed up or down, zippered pockets are a plus. (Several other ladies asked about my dress and I referred them to Magallens Catalog).Ordered my daughter one after she saw mine. Skirt is full enough for dancing, sightseeing, shopping. You will love this dress. Quick order one while it is on sale!

I am 6 feet tall and slender. There is not much I can purchase from Magellan, made more difficult by the fact that they frequently do not list skirt/dress lengths. After much discussion with customer service, I finally purchased this dress. It does work for me, though a bit more length would have been great. I have taken it on two trips and it packs like a dream in any old corner of the suitcase and comes out looking fresh and unwrinkled. Very clever design in front panel is capable of concealing parts of the figure you might want concealed. Altogether I'm happy with purchase. Just wish there were more options for tall women.

this dress is very flattering. I love the hidden pockets. As a matter of fact, I love the pockets that you sew in all your clothes. I bought all the pieces in this line because they all looked so nice on AND all had zippered pockets!! The fig is a burgandy/wine and beautiful. Fabric flows very nicely and so easy to pack, takes very little space and shakes out wrinkles. I would buy the whole line in another color if you had it.

This dress is light weight and stylish with a security pocket. It can be dressed up or dressed down and goes well from a dinner event to a casual night walking.
