Multiple plugs and USB connector
By Dr HernĂ¡n B., Eufaula, AL in July, 2012
It worked great!. With one power strip we were able to recharge our iPhone, iPads' and batteries for the digital cameras all at the same time. It is a very nice convenience to have in a European hotel. Last Fall, I had to take turns charging the batteries, iPhone and iPad, but this power strip solved the problem. From now on I won't leave home without it. Thanks.
Dual-Voltage Power Strip
By John S., Riverside, IL in June, 2012
This is an excellent addition to any over seas travelers kit.. On a recent trip to the Baltics we were able to charge two camera batteries, connect the personnel computer (because you have three plugs with this power strip) and we could also charge our blackberry, because there is a plug for that too!! It is easy to pack and makes travel much simpler.
Love It!
By Sharon B., Plano, TX in May, 2012
We recently took this with us to Europe. It worked very well for us considering that we have so many devices to charge. I could wish that the cord was a little longer but overall we were very satisfied with it.
Fantastic Gadget!!
By Eleanor W., Oslo, AE in May, 2012
I've used this product all over Europe, the Middle East, and the US and wouldn't travel without it! In the US, you just plug it in and anywhere else you just plug it in with an adapter. Poof! You suddenly have enough outlets to charge your laptop, Kindle and Blackberry all at once! It's lightweight, easy to pack (the cord wraps around and plugs into itself) and has never let me down. Seems a little pricey but definitely worth it.
Perfect size for travel
By Carol P., Reston, VA in May, 2012
I always advise everyone to take a power strip like this one on cruises, since cabins generally have ONE outlet, and the lamp or TV is already plugged into it. We took this with us on a river boat cruise down the Seine. The strip is compact, but has enough outlets for all our gadgets -- Kindle Fire, iPad, etc. We did have to use a plug adaptor, though, since the outlet on the boat was recessed and the power strip's plug wouldn't fit in the hole. Still, it was easier than lugging the monster power strip we've used in the past. I recommend it!

Just what we needed..
At last!
By Karen D., Walnut Creek,, CA in February, 2012
This light weight, convenient and easy-to-pack strip makes it possible to power up three electronics and a USB at one time. It's a boon for a photographer on the go with enough space for battery chargers, laptop and iPad.
A travel necessity
By Caroline B., Camp Hill, PA in January, 2012
This power strip is incredibly handy with all the electronic gadgets I carry. I charged my phone, power monkey (portable charger), and camera all at once, and all at one location. No more hunting around the hotel room for enough outlets.
1 Amp limit
By Eliyahu B., Jerusalem, US in January, 2012
I burned out my ThinkPad Tablet charger that is a 2 Amp charger and the power strip as well. I didn't look at the power rating. My fault but if the strip was available in a 2 Amp model it would be great.
Great product
By Sharon M., Champaign, IL in October, 2011
My husband and I each have one and they live in our suitcases so we don't forget them. I do agree that the cord could be a bit longer and more flexible, but otherwise this is one of our travel necessities.
Absolutely Great!
By Kathleen L., BRADENTON, FL in September, 2011
Not only is this a necessity for travel as everyone states in their reviews, but it is also fantastic for home use.... to charge my IPAD, smartphone, eReader, camera battery charger, etc. I use mine every day and just bought 2 more to give to my relatives who will be cruising with us later this year. Love the product!
a practical necessity
By Linda Q., Half Moon Bay, CA in September, 2011
Was great to find something that I really needed. I have a sleep apnea machine that I have had to use on my travels, and this will come in so handy to increase the number of outlets that are available to use. It also prevents my having to drape the cords to go across the floor where someone would have to walk over them or worse yet, run into them because the cord is in the air, which is a definite hazard!
Great Traveling Power Bar
By Arlene R., Guelph, ON in August, 2011
Really pleased to receive this traveling power bar. It has 3 plug ins plus the bonus of a USB site! The compact size means it takes up very little space in my luggage. It will come in handy for any type of travel!
Dual Voltage Power Strip
By Sandra W., Redmond, OR in August, 2011
Handy accessory especially for traveling when you need a compact power strip that's easy to pack or at home when you need an extra power strip. My only complaint is that the cord is a little stiff and a bit short. Otherwise, a great product.
Worth the $$$
By Burk M., Rocky Mount, NC in July, 2011
Great Value - Europeon Hotels seldom have enough outlets. With this I could charge my phone, computer, and iPad with only one plug adaptor for the country needed.
A Go Bag Must
By Gary P., AE in July, 2011
Terrific muti-voltage travel accessary. USB recharge and 3 grounded recepticles. Light weight, high quality, packs conveniently. I never leave home with out it. I must travel with a laptop and blackberry. I choose to take iPod. My wife brings the same. We always need more outlets and now we have them.
Invaluable device
By susan g., pound ridge, NY in June, 2011
Between us, my husband and I have 6 electrical/computer devices which we take with us when we travel. This dual-voltate power strip saved our lives. We plugged it into the wall outlet next to the hotel desk, and charged iphones, ipads, camera batteries, every night. Compact and lightweight, it easily fit in my luggage, with the power chords already attached, and I could pull it out at the next destination.
A great product
By Russell U., Lions Head, ON in March, 2011
A little pricey for what it is, comparing it to something available anywhere, it is a well put together device that weighs little, and tucks in well with no flinging cord. The dual voltage thing is a bit misleading, it needs an adapter to make it fit the receptacles where you are, and does not correct the voltage, so really no better than any other one, but a godsend.
A Pleasure having extra plug
By Joyce S., Salinas, CA in March, 2011
This is going to a real life saver in hotel rooms, won't have to unplug a lamp to plug in my charger. Thanks
No more limited plug ins
By Teresa H., Fridley, MN in February, 2011
Could not find a dual voltage small extension cord anywhere else and it was recommended that I take one. Appreciate the wide selection of products in your catalog and the travel tips too. I feel very prepared to travel and have recommended your catalog to several travel companions.
Very Handy
By David D., MS in February, 2011
Bought & used on vacation trip out of US. Handy to plug in multiple items in room at resort. Only one socket was easily accesible in our room. Safe for use at 220V. I carry it in my briefcase now for business in US. Have used it in 2 airports since returning. Allows several travelers to charge phones/laptops in gate areas!
Very useful
By Susan B., FL in December, 2010
While it's pricey for a power strip, it's the only one I could find this small and lightweight for traveling with only carry-on luggage. However, it proved it's value at my first stop when I used it to re-charge several items at once, especially when I could find only one convenient outlet in my hotel room.
A must have for travel techies
By Lynn J., Diamond Bar, CA in September, 2010
The Dual Voltage Power Strip along with the Euro-Surge gave us 5 places to charge on only one outlet! We had no worries about charging my laptop, 2 phones and camera battery all at once.
Great product!
By Anonymous, San Francisco, CA in August, 2010
Especially loved the USB port.
Great for Cruises!
By Melanie A., IL in August, 2010
I recently purchased this to use on a cruise and it was so convenient! Cruisers know that ship cabins suffer from a distinct lack of electrical outlets which causes a challenge when we have so many gadgets that need to be recharged on a regular basis. This power strip was compact and easy to pack but allowed us to plug in several items at once. Given how rapidly I was using my camera batteries, I constantly had that recharger plugged into the power strip! I am very glad I purchased this.
Perfect for travel!
By Michelle P., Dallas, TX in August, 2010
It is compact and the plug nicely plugs into a socket to protect it . This strip saved us from having to purchase multiple adapters, but in many places, one outlet is all you get. We used it with Magellans Universal Adapter, which we've used all over the world. I especially like that I can use it at home as well as overseas. The USB port saves a socket & works great for an iPhone.
Power Strip
By Bill N., OH in August, 2010
This is the perfect answer to hotels without enough outlets near the desk. It is compact and, best of all, is certified for higher (European) voltages. I don't travel without it.
Becoming a standard item in my bag
By Jamie T., Chula Vista, CA in August, 2010
Although I usually can find enough plugs in hotel rooms, having this means I don't have to spread my electronic things out ,or spend time searching for plugs.I thought the USB port would be good for charging my Blackberry (saving me from packing another charger). It does work, but doesn't put out a lot of juice. It takes a long time to recharge my BlackBerry compared to when I plug it into my laptop. I'm waiting for the day when I can rent spaces on it at the airport!
Great for Travel
By Patrick M., Chester, NJ in August, 2010
I bought the dual voltage power strip for my travels. I average 2-3 trips per year. I had been traveling with a normal extension cord, which took up too much room, added too much weight and did,t meet most of my needs. This stubby extension with USB ports is perfect for my needs. It's just long enough. It accepts 3-prong cords or chargers and USB chargers for my iPad, iPhone and iPod. It packs easily.
Love this Product!!
By Eleanor W., Oslo, Norway, AE in July, 2010
There are NEVER enough outlets for charging, especially in Europe. You do need an adapter, but after that you're set to charge a Blackberry, cellphone and--with the very handy USB port--a digital camera without needing to lug a laptop. This will be a must in my travel bag from now on.
Very very handy
By Charles B., FL in July, 2010
This came in very handy on a recent trip to France. The little old Paris hotels have very few plugs, and we needed to charge several items. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it's weight is a little higher than it could be.
a very good product
By Marjorie C W., Austin, TX in July, 2010
The strip plugs into itself for storage, but it doesn't lie flat when you use it. This is a small inconvenience, though; it's very useful, and there are many trips where it would have come in handy. I plan to just leave it in my suitcase and take it everywhere. I especially appreciate that it's dual-voltage.

nice and compact for traveling
Perfect Travel Charger
By K D., FL in June, 2010
This power strip was perfect for our recent week-long cruise. We were able to charge our 2-way radios and iPod while also using a curling iron. We are extremely pleased with this purchase and will be using it regularly.
Great for international travel
By S C., CA in June, 2010
I would have given 5 stars; however, my only complaint is that the cord should be slightly longer. Otherwise, this works great with no problems. I'm currently traveling through 4 countries in Europe, and this power strip has cut down the number of plug adapters I need to bring. The USB plug is a fantastic added bonus, which I use to charge my iPod while charging my cell phone and laptop at the same time. Highly recommended!
Versatile Mini Power Strip
By Dan S., Kent, WA in June, 2010
I replaced a 4-plug single voltage mini power strip and 2 charging adapters with this device. Since it has a USB port, I can charge my phone or Kindle and leave their chargers at home. And since it is dual voltage, I can use it outside the US - something not possible with most power strips.
Works well, but is not a surge protector...
By Stephen B., PA in June, 2010
The power strip is great for travel, especially in hotels where the number of outlets is quite small. For travel in the US, the strips well, as no adapters are needed. For travel in Europe, adapters are needed to convert the three prong plug to the local outlet. Please note that this item is not a surge protector. I still prefer the EuroSurge when traveling in Europe. On my most recent trip, however, I plugged this power strip into my Euro Surge and was able to have power and/recharge capacity f
Packs small and delivers large
By Karen M., Mountain Home, AR in May, 2010
How many times have you tried to reach around a hotel bed to unplug the clock or lamp, just so you will have a free outlet? This cleverly designed power strip gives you several outlets plus a USB plug in for your iPod or Kindle or other USB devices. I especially like that the cord wraps around the strip and plugs into one of the outlets for a compact unit for packing. Highly recommend! Also makes a great gift for your favorite travelers.
Indispensable!
By Donna K., New York, NY in May, 2010
One of the most useful items I bought for a three week trip to Africa. But will be useful for all trips--and I won't leave home without it! Particularly good for foreign travel because only need one plug adaptor ! Makes travel easier--just plug in items that need to be charged and your set!
Would have rated it a 5 if it had surge protection included.
By Tim B., Bountiful, UT in May, 2010
Nice and compact.....BUT We all know that traveling in 3rd world countries that the power can be undependable at times. Surge protection is a must in these situations.
Very handy !!
By Susan B., Coral Springs, FL in May, 2010
I used this extensively on my last trip to recharge multiple items at one time when only one outlet was available in the hotel room. It is very lightweight and compact and since I travel with only carry-on luggage...it was very convenient. I had looked for something like this in local stores, but I couldn't find anything like it in stores or online. I will take if with me on every trip from now on.
Dual Voltage Mini Power Strip
By Cheryl F., Gastonia, NC in March, 2010
I have not used this product yet but I am very pleased with the compact size and weight. I know it will be very handy on my next trip abroad.
More power in less space
By Carol B., TX in January, 2010
Perfect for rooms with few outlets. Still have to carry a plug adapter, but don't need a converter. Light weight and easy to carry.
Essential gadget!
By Jenna E., Scituate, MA in December, 2009
This item is so compact you'll want to take it everywhere. The short cord wraps around the body and plugs into one of the outlets for safe transportation. The USB outlet is also a plus!
Well thought-out and useful
By Gerry M., Waterloo, ON in December, 2009
This is a welcome replacement for some short (1 ft) single outlet extensions plus three-outlet cube taps with which I normally travel to "feed" mutliple electronic. The added USB charger port effectively makes this four outlets. One quality control note: I purchased two of these; one allows storage of the cord by wrapping around and inserting the plug perfectly, the other has a slightly shorter cord, requiring some stretching to get the plug in. This is not desirable with molded connections!
Really handy size
By Linda S., Greensboro, NC in November, 2009
this fits nice into corner of suitcase or into the pocket of computer bag. It's great to have extra plug.
Prongs are no problem
By Marilyn T., Canterbury, CT in November, 2009
Previous poster was worried about hte rigid prongs possibly damaging stuff in the luggage, I find if you plug it into itself, you dont have that problem. I love the USB jack, great addition to a standard power strip.
Mini Power Strip
By Maryel C., Lake Placid, FL in November, 2009
Haven't used it while travelling yet--but it has proven very useful in the house!
Almost perfect
By Denis K., Naperville, IL in October, 2009
The prongs should either be foldable, or retractable. I do not like relatively sharp, and unmovable objects being packed with my baggage--particularly should TSA open and improperly repack. Otherwise a great product.
