Also get a local - US adapter
By Timothy, TX in May, 2013

Forgot to mention, if you get a plug adapter with US prongs and local socket (like the locals would need for their stuff if they came to the US, then you can unplug that desk lamp which is using the only socket, plug this strip in there and be able to still use that lamp.

wich it had 2A USB
By Timothy, TX in May, 2013

It adds convenience when there are no or few available outlets in the room.

If only the USB would charge an ipad, I could then leave the charger at home. As it is, I have to use the ipad charging adapter in one of the sockets. but of course I can charge the phone from the USB.

Very Good
By Tom H., Grand Prairie, TX in October, 2012

Great product. I just spent six weeks in Singapore, and this allowed me to charge my laptop, iPad, Nook, and iPhone all at once, and from a single outlet. The hotel had a universal outlet at the desk, so I did not need an adapter. I did use it with Magellan's UK adapter while at work. I would have given it 5 stars if it would chage iPads (and most tablets) from the USB port and it included a surge suppressor. The catalog states, "and a USB port to charge all your electronic devices." The USB port is limited to 1 amp, and will not charge most tablets, such as iPad, Nook, or Android. Since most people would charge their phone from the USB port and plug their tablet charger into a standard plug, this is a minor issue.

I was unable to fit any of the sdaptors I bought in to it.

convenient for airport use
By Terri D., Vero Beach, FL in September, 2012

I saw this and my first thought was how convenient for charging all my electronics before boarding my 13 hour flight (where there's no way to recharge in economy class). There's nothing more frustrating than someone who's using all the plugs at the charging station. This allows me to plug in my Nook and iPod without tying up the other plugs so someone else can use the charging station too. I've even shared my power strip with others too. Traveling by air is hard enough these days, thanks for a product that makes at least the airport easier.
