Love it, it works well, and the very long cord works comes in handy for those pesky times when the outlet is a mile from the mirror - I encounter this a lot in older European hotels.

This spray works great, I used it on my 18 hour flight to Europe and it helped me not dry out. It takes a while to get use to, but it's totally worth it. I forgot to put it in my carry on on the way home and I could definitely tell the difference, I was really dried out and took a couple days to get back to normal, I really reccomend this spray for airplanes

This flat iron is AMAZING!!!!!! It works sooo good, I traveled to Europe (London, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, and France) and with plug adapters it worked fine. I didn't need a voltage convertor for it (I didn't need a converter at all in Europe, just plug adapters for my iphone and camera) It heats up super fast, I have even been using it back home in the States. I would definitely recommend it while traveling to other countries

I was on a tour through Europe and at least three women blew out their flat irons on the trip. I was so happy that I had researched and realized that dual voltage was important. It was only a bit smaller than the one I use at home and works great.

This has turned out to be very useful, since I travel often and prefer to use a flat iron or my hair is a wavy, unruly mess. I got this to replace the baby size travel iron I used to use - which worked OK but took a long time, and my hair is not that long. Unlike some other reviewers, I do not think this one is better than regular ones on the market, and it was a bit expensive. Overall though, it does it's job, is not too heavy and doesn't take up too much space. Good purchase!

I was so pleased to find this dual voltage straightener! I learned the hard way that my CHI did not work overseas (even with a converter). I purchased this 2 years ago and have used it in Europe several times without a hitch. It truly works as well as my CHI does and costs half as much!

This iron works just as expected. It's easy to hold, lightweight to pack, and has an easy to adjust temperature dial. So nice to have the convenience of dual voltage! This small size is best for small sections of hair. It would be too small for extremely thick or long hair.

When I realized that my flat iron would not work in Europe, I thought I would purchase a converter. I called your customer service department and explained what I was looking for. The rep explained several options, one of which was to purchase a flat iron which works in both the US and Europe. I didn't even know that product was available at Magellan's. So I purchased the dual voltage flat iron, and it worked as well as my much more expensive US iron! I now keep the iron in my travel bag and use it for business trips as well.

This flat iron is great - no need to have to remember to change a switch for different voltages. It actually works better than my $100 iron!

I am pleased with the flat iron. i purchased it for an upcoming trip to Italy. I have not yet been so not sure at this time how the "dual voltage" works out.

I have searched all over the US and Europe for this flat iron. It works perfectly!!! Now I'm set,no matter where I go. No converter just a few adaptors. I also want to say that the price for this item was half the price of my flat iron I use at home.

I researched many dual voltage flat irons, some more expensive and some less. I purchased this one after reading the reviews. It worked perfectly, just like my $100+ flat iron I use at home. I used it in Paris and London with just an adapter (no converter needed). Not once did I have a problem with the iron. It heats up very quickly and works beautifully. I only wish I would have found this site before I spent a great deal of time researching other flat irons, none of which measured up to this one.

This flat iron worked great on my curly hair and I love the fact that it is dual voltage. I can use it when I travel to Europe and not have to worry about damaging my regular flat iron.

I recently travedled to England and Scotland and purchased this iron in advance based on the reviews posted here. d So glad I did. My hair tends to curl at the slightest bit of humidity and with the rainy climate, this straightener was great! It heated up quickly - regardless of where we stayed - homes of family, small B&Bs, large hotels, it worked perfectly, everywhere! I never had any problem with voltage issues. I have also used this at home in the States and it is first rate.

I loved the way that this flat iron worked during my week long trip to Italy! I think that it even works better than the expensive flat iron that I use at home - it has definitely become a go-to appliance for me!

I took this flat iron to Germany, Czech Republic, and Switzerland in September. It worked great everywhere but in Switzerland. I was using a adapter for Germany and the prongs were not long enough for the Swiss outlets. I borrowed my sister-in-laws multi-country adapter, which she was having issues with trying to charge her phone and camera, and the iron turned on but did not heat up. I think the issue was with the adapter, not the flat iron. The flat iron worked perfectly fine back home.

I used this on my last trip to Europe. It worked perfectly everywhere I went, and it was a breeze to pack.

The iron seems well-made and it works as well as my "home" iron. It's no smaller than a typical iron, but I don't think smaller size plates would do the job. I've had it for just a few weeks and I'm hoping that it doesn't conk out on my 3-week trip to Africa.

This flatiron is wonderful to have. It works like a charm and is as good, or better, than the one I use on a daily basis. It is easy to travel with and has a nice velcro strap that keeps the cords and plates all together for easy storage in a suitcase or drawer. It heats up quickly and has good temperature controls. All in all, a great addition to your travel wardrobe without having to worry about converters in foreign countries. The dual function eliminates the worry about blowing out the iron.

My teenage daughter has wavy hair and insists that we take a flat iron when we travel. Recently we went to Europe and needed something dual voltage. I had almost given up finding a decent one (I searched a lot of websites but most dual voltage flat irons got so-so reviews). Then I found this one and decided to take a chance. I'm glad I did. It worked great for both of us, especially since she could make it hotter for her course hair and I could make it a little cooler for my finer hair. We are both 100% happy with this product! I highly recommend it! It works as well as the very expensive professional flat iron we have at home.

I purchased the dual voltage flat iron for an upcoming trip to Europe. It performed beautifully in all the countries we visited. I tested it out at home before we left and the iron worked better on my hair than my Chi brand one. The Magellan iron leaves my hair shiny and straight. I would highly recommend this product.

If you really concerned about space, there is nothing small about this iron. I have a Solia already, and this one appears to be practically identical, without the Solia label. It is an excellent flat iron, but because of it's standard size and weight, I don't think it would be great to travel with (unless you have no issues with space or weight). Again, it is a really good iron though, and with the adjustable temp, is even better than most others.

This was a very good flat iron at a reasonable price.

Last year I had to wear a hat in Austria because my Target-purchased dual voltage flat iron did not work; I decided that I wouldn't have a bad hair week in Italy and ordered yours. It worked great, didn't burn my hair and is small enough to fit easily into my bag. I highly recommend this flat iron.

THis is a GREAT flatiron. I used it in Germany and the UK with no concerns. I have a $165 Chi at home and this works every bit as good. It has an adjustable temperature dial which most dual voltage flat irons do not have. I highly reccomend it.

After searching my local malls for a dual voltage flat iron and having no luck, I decided to order one through Magellan's. It really did the job well. I won't say it was as good as the one I use at home which cost twice as much, but it was more than satisfactory and kept my hair looking straight and stylish while I was overseas. I really would have been miserable without it because as we women know, there's nothing as bad as a "bad hair day!"

I love that there is a travel flat iron with dual voltage. It doesn't work as good as my professional flat iron, but this will work great for traveling.

I was never able to use my curling iron or flat iron in the Slovak Republic during my last 7 summers there even with a voltage converter until I purchased this dual-voltage flat iron. All I needed was my adapter plug. I used it both overseas and at home. It worked! Yeah!

Just what I needed for my travel, it worked great.

This turned out to be a great time for my little trips to Europe. There is no changing the voltage, the item does it automatically, so that is nice. It did not fry my hair, so that was nice too. It does have a nice long cord, it is a keeper.
