Product is definitely compact and takes up very little space. It's performance is good in delivering good heat during drying process. Product doesn't last long. Our dryer is defective with the switch only usable either in the low setting or off, and can not be used in the high setting which renders it completely useless. This happened only after our second trip and about 18 days of use. We'd suggest you check your hair dryer to ensure it works prior to traveling.

I purchased this hair dryer for travel overseas. It worked great with an adapter. It has only one setting that can be used while traveling but in the US it can be used on both settings.

Good everyday, not great for international travel
This blow dryer is a good workhorse for every day, but a bit too heavy and bulky for travel, especially internationally. What they don't tell you is that you can only use it on the highest setting in other countries, which was too hot for me. I had it in France and Spain, and rather than deal with the excessive heat, I opted for the hotel blow dryer or borrowed my sister-in-law's. Something more compact, with dual voltage that adjusts automatically, and that lets you use all the settings would be better.
