Comply™ NR10 Earphones

These are the third set of noise reduction earbuds that I've tried and they're the only ones that really worked. Neither set of tips seemed to work at first. Then I tried the regular tips again, but held them tightly in place for more than a minute instead of the recommended 15 to 30 seconds. That did the trick. I won't be travelling soon, so I tried them while running a paper shredder with music at a medium-low volume and couldn't hear the shredder at all. Sound quality is fine.

I thought that I would try the Comply NR 10 for use on my Harley Davidson to see if it would be effective with sealing out wind and other outside noises. Actually, I am using it to hear voice prompts on my GPS. While not totally eliminating the outside noise competition, the ear buds performed well. The volume was sufficient to overcome both wind and exhaust noise. The product has accomplished my intended goal. I had previously tried hearing sets offered by Harley Davidson and none offered do the job.

My "Comply" earphones make my trips much more comfortable and quiet, significantly reducing noise from jet engines, crying children and snoring seat-mates. Easy to fit, comfortable, and likely much cleaner than airline headsets. I often use them on flights without audio service just because they make the flight quieter and reduce tiring noise. A really excellent product, and my husband asked for a pair for his birthday.

The noise reduction was not adequate. I tried them on an old noisy treadmill and they failed the test. I am going on an airplane, but sent them back before trying that also.

Picked up a pair of Comply NR10s shortly before leaving on a 10-day West Coast tour. I'm routinely stuck in a bus with 4-5 other guys blaring death metal at ear-splitting volumes, so I needed something with excellent isolation AND fidelity. Active noise reduction circuits color the sound far too much, so I needed a passive system. The NR10s did the job FAR better than I expected from something at this price point. Fidelity was excellent, and I could lay in my bunk and watch The Conversation on my iPad while the rest of the band listened to Ritual Necromancy at 110dB, and everyone was happy. I'd recommend the NR10s without hesitation.

This provides great sound as well as blocks engine noise when not being used. Sometimes I just put them in without hooking them to any media. When I do use them, it's comfortable, provides good quality sound and so compact it can go into my shirt pocket. Extra ear pieces are a great addition.

The noise reduction was excellent, but, when listening to the movie on the plane and listening to my iPod, i could only hear the sound in one ear. We bought 2 for our trip and they both worked the same-no stereo sound.

I use these earphones on long flights. They are good at cutting outside noise (even missed announcements). The foam is comfortable enough to keep in for hours without irritation. Comes with a 2-prong adapter for plugging-in to the plane's audio system.

These are the first ear buds that have ever survived a trip. And while not as noise-cancelling as a full Bose headphones set, they were more than adequate to a masque the roar of the airplane noise. Best earbuds I've ever had!

these really work to block outside sound. Use them on the airplane all the time and they come with an airline plugin so you can use these earphones instead of the cheap ones the airlines supply. They are shown with an ipod, but I own an mp3 player with standard 3.5 jack and these earphones fit my mp3 player.

I have tried dozens of headphones and ear buds that all claim to provide the best sound and drown out the noise of airplanes. My iPod has never sounded this good. At the same time, they very successfully drown out external noises. The only problem with these earphones is that when my 13-year old borrows them, I know she truly can't hear me when I talk to her while she has them on; she's not just making that up like she usually does. Small price to pay for a great listening experience.

Not only are the Comply earphones effective in blocking out noise, they are exceedingly comfortable. I use them with my iPod as well as on flights instead of the earphones supplied by the airlines. They are easy to clean as well.
