Compact Travel Hairsetter

If you are buying this set, take caution. There are two different versions with the same model number. One set is as shown with blue and yellow curlers. The other set has white curlers--large and small. I bought the set with the white curlers. The curlers are great. I have long hair and wanted all large rollers. I called the Conair Customer Service number and that is where the trouble started. The support from Conair is terrible. You get a call center in Florida. They know NOTHING about their products. I ordered exactly what is shown in the insert and got the wrong curlers. I called the Call Center back. They can do nothing!!!!! They have to wait and send a message to the Corporate Office. Have I received a call back from them? Of course not. I would rate the curlers with 4.5 stars. I rate the Customer Service from Conair with zero stars.

My hair is above shoulder length and these electric rollers were great. Love the compact size for my carry on luggage.

I have short-ish hair, so most of the rollers were too big, and the clips didn't hold the hair. It's probably good for someone with medium to long hair. Also -- it took a while to heat up. I returned the product after one use.

Took these to Alaska...they pack well and give a nice curl!

Works well ... soft curls with a pretty quick warm up ... and I really like the compact footprint.

The rollers were a perfect size for me. My hair is shorter on top and falls to the nape of my neck. I was also thrilled to learn that I could order additional rollers. I usually dampen each little hair section with a tiny bit of mouse before I set it on the roller to hold the curl.

The curlers are the best I have ever used anywhere. I have been using electric curlers for over 40 years and this set heats in a matter of minutes. Make sure to keep the plastic cover on as that keeps the heat in, I wasn't sure at first but once I mastered this trick they worked better than any set I have ever used.

This is a fantastic product. It is so compact for packing and easy to use. It heats up very quickly which is a bonus. I use it all the time. It is great.

I had the previous travel set from Conair and Magellan's for that matter. I don't know why, but these don't seem to do the job for me. Maybe, it's that they're not circular or get as hot? Anyway, I think I'm going to have to buy a substitute, which is too bad, b/c I was v. happy with my old set (although the rubber was starting to fall off from use!) Also, unlike one of the other comments, these have more rollers, so not as compact... I was fine with less rollers...

I'm getting ready to travel overseas & wanted a light travel hairsetter. This does fit that bill & well. It is very compact & I really like the small inside pocket to hold the pins. My only "complaint" is that I use rollers less for curl & more for body/wave. These "large" rollers are too small for my taste & give me more curl than I want. I'd really love maybe 6 jumbo rollers vs. the 8 large, but all that aside, they're coming with me! Conair, could you make this will jumbo rollers?

I ordered these travel rollers not quite confident that they'd do the job, boy was I surprised! They not only give a great curl but 12 rollers are actually enough for my thick, shoulder length hair. Extremely small and compact and very lightweight, they will be easy to pack in my carry-on bag (I don't check-in any luggage).

I purchased this wonderful little travel hairsetter set just before we left for a 3 week trip to Europe about 2 years ago. Since then I have traveled out of the country 5 more times and my little hairsetter set is always with me. It is the best travel purchase that I have ever made. It has a built-in power converter so you never have to worry about the voltage. With the plug adapter set your are good to go anywhere!

I like this curler set. Lightweight, easy to pack, curlers got hot enough to give nice curls.

I like the size of this. I ordered extra large curlers immediately. Heats fast and is good for touch ups.

This product really worked well. It packed easily, taking up very little space in my carry -on. The convienence of a built-in hertz/voltage converter was wonderful as I traveled through many countries staying at various types of facilities on my latest trip. The curlers heated up quickly and held their heat well. Because there is a smaller number of curlers and only 2 sizes with a travel set as compared with a standard home set the overall curl (set) you can obtain is dimished however.
