Made of lightweight Nycott nylon, it has a flexible 3" brim, adjustable chin strap, and terrycloth sweatband. Repellent treatment lasts through 70 washings.

Blowing in the wind

I really like the hat and it is very protective from the sun, but the brim is easily folded over by the wind to either unprotect you from the elements or to stop you from being able to see. I still like the hat and would buy it again.

An Almost Perfect Hat for Your Travels

I ordered one of these hats about a year ago and ordered another one this spring for my husband. I was especially pleased that the second one (this year's) was a slightly lighter color. I ordered both hats in the larger size as the smaller size would have been too small. However, the hat is a little big. I would suggest adding a feature that makes it possible to adjust the hat for better fit. Perhaps also add more colors, i.e. olive green or similar shade? Other than that, a great hat.

Fabulous Material is used on this Hat, & it looks great too. Very pleased, I ordered it for my boyfriend, but I may order one for myself if I get an offer that I can't refuse. I could really use it in my gardening, thank you.
