Terrific Bag but...

First, I LOVE this bag, own three, purchased in July 2012 The light weight material looks to be very sturdy but, the 27" rolling duffel made two trips to Europe with multiple stops. The last trip
to China generated a large 'L" shaped tear completely through to the inside. Also a 2 inch rip in the fabric on the bottom of the 20" wheeled duffel on a flight in August. Sure was hoping it would hold up better. So, 5 stars on, weight, capacity, and ease of handling but 2 stars on fab.c -
A lightweight and compact duffel

I have used this duffel on several domestic and international trips and I really like that it is so lightweight. In hotel rooms where there is not much storage it is convenient to be able to collapse the bag. My only gripe is that the inside straps are way too close to the sides of the bag making it impossible to securely strap down the contents.

Good choice

Based on its light weight, I thought this might be a flimsy duffel. It's not! The material is strong and elegant. I've just used it on a 3-week trip, and it met my needs beautifully. It seems to be deeper than most, allowing many things to be packed upright for easy access and a neater suitcase. The integrated folding system confused me at first, but it's simply a way to collapse and store the luggage. It does, however, provide a good place to slip a few papers that you don't want to crumble during your travels. There is a long zippered pocket inside along the back and a long zippered (unlockable) pocket outside along the front. The wheels are smooth and quiet, and the handles comfortable. The only thing I would change is to make the inside straps longer. They are not long enough to contain everything when the duffel is fully loaded.
