Lovely rest
By Natasha P, US in November, 2012
After about two days of traveling, I decided to give it a try and the smell is one that you would not expect to do the Zzzz trick. But I slept well, then added it to a handkerchief and placed in the pillow case. I felt more rested each night of my trip abroad, so much so I used it for the 9 hour flight back. And while I didn't sleep the whole way, I felt relaxed.
It works !!!

I tried different ways of applying the balm, and the most effective way for me is to rub some on the upper lip, the lips and the back of the hands.

I have only used this on one trip but it seemed to do the trick. Now back in the US it makes an awesome lip balm.

badger sleep balm
By Susan L., Peterborough, Canada, ON in March, 2012
It really works. I not only use it for travel now, I also use it every night when going to bed. It keeps your lips moist & also it helps with a stuffy nose. You won't be sorry for purchasing . Sweet dreams everyone.
A great product - not a great size
By Anonymous, Chippewa Falls, WI in October, 2011
This is a wonderful product, but I'd encourage Magellans to carry the .75 oz tin rather than (or in addition to) the 2 oz. currently available - it would still be plenty of product, but a MUCH better size for travel.
Badger is the best!
By Jennifer W., Boise, ID in September, 2011
I first used this on a flight from San Francisco to Munich in 2005. Worked like a charm. The scent is calming and soothing, especially if you like lavender anyway. It doesn't last too long - and it definitely helped me relax and sleep on the long flight, and several since then. I also carry lavender essential oil to smell as well. I wear this at home on my lips - my husband, who is VERY sensitive to smells and can get migraines from perfume, has never complained about Badger Sleep Balm! I've also tried several other Badger products and they all smell wonderful and do what they are supposed to do (revive, smooth, calm). Try this, you won't be sorry! The tin is adorable and you get a lot, enough to last for many months.
It works
By Richard E., NC in September, 2011
I typically have trouble sleeping, however I don't like to use sleeping medications whether prescription or over the counter. When I found this I thought I would give it a try since the price is fairly reasonable. I must admit I was surprised, the item actually works,it works too well, when I use it I must devote 9 to 10 hours for sleep that night, otherwise I have a difficult time waking up. It does work.

Really, really works
By Kathleen M., OR in August, 2010
I have trouble sleeping, even at home and the Badger really works for me. I plan to take it on my next trip which is in October. It isn't messy to have on a person's face. In fact, I think it just might help my skin.
Great if You Are Horizontal
By Kristen W., Austin, TX in August, 2010
When folded up like a pretzel, trying to sleep on crowded plane when the person in front of you has reclined completely back, this doesn't help you sleep. Let's be honest - nothing would. But it does have a lovely calming scent which will probably keep you from becoming the next "air rage" story on CNN. I do love using it at night once I arrive at my destination. You don't notice the stale, odd hotel room smells and it will ease you into sleep if you are in a bed (not an airline seat.)
love the smell
By kathy j., orland park, IL in July, 2010
I really liked the scent, not too strong. It does't last too long, but enough that it seemed to help me relax. Would buy it again. Much larger tin of it than I thought it would be. Would like a smaller size for travel.
Soothing

I like this product & find it does make me relax & helps prepare me for sleep. It smells good and I find it soothing...
interesting
By Steph A., TX in March, 2010
Not sure if it really worked or not. My mind tells me it did. However, the smell is pleasant, the feel was nice to have on before laying down.

this product has no effect on me.
Pleasant Product
By Mary L., TX in March, 2009
This product really does not help me sleep. It is pleasant and probably calming and relaxing but I can't say it helps with sleep. I like to use it on my lips, forehead and temples. My lips get dry at night and especially on an airplane and this really moisturizes them and lasts a long time.
such a great product I use it at home
By drucilla v., louisville, KY in January, 2009
Recently had an 11 hour flight which was to be followed by a 6 hour shore excursion upon arrival---so sleeping on the plane was essential--this did the trick--however, since I didn't need the large tin I put some in a small travel container to save space....
