I bought this pillow for a 16-hour flight because I knew my lower back would hurt with no lumbar support in those awful airplane seats. It inflates and deflates very easily and I liked the waist strap to keep it in place. It also folds up nicely and is very compact in its carrying case. It did provide nice lumbar support and felt good on my lower back, so I think it definitely performed up to expectations. In my case, I ended up having to take it off my back and sit on it for the last several hours of the flight because my rear end hurt worse than my back. I have to say, it held up really well. I sat on it for at least 6 hours and it did not burst at the seams or deflate, so I was very impressed with how well it was made. I'm going to buy a separate seat cushion so that next time I can acutally use this pillow for my back for the entire trip. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I think it is a bit pricey.
