Not suitable as a carry-on
I wish I had read the previous review. Tonight was the third time the airline refused to let me use this bag as a carry-on. The claim was that it was over-sized for the overhead bins. It did not matter that I told them I had flown the bag many times and it always fit into the overhead bins. Once again I had to gate-check the bag and was stuck offloading my heavy electronics into a plastic garbage bag. (I started to keep a garbage bag in the suitcase after the first time an airline insisted on gate-checking the suitcase. Tomorrow I plan to call customer service and learn if I can return the suitcase.

be advised - wrong sizing
Wonderful bag - just what I wanted -- only to discover that the bag is larger than 22 inches. I had to return it rather than chance being charged a check in fee each time I tried to use it as a carry-on.
