My travel Pal
By Jacqui M., Kenwood, CA in August, 2012
I take my humidifier everywhere I know it's needed from Arizona to Alaska. Hotels are the worse since you usually don't have freah air....I breath so much better. When the smaller bottle did not last I switched to a larger bottle I now use a one litre bottle...take an empty one on board to refill later!
Disappointed
By Sarah K., NY in May, 2012
I read all of the reviews before I decided to buy this humidifier since I suffer from sinus problems and am always traveling and staying in hotels. The positive reviews made me hopeful that this would help. I still wake up feeling extremely dry, and whether on the low or medium setting, the .5L of water is not sufficient to run during the night.
It helped!
By Jackie C., pasadena, MD in February, 2012
The humidifer really helped make the air in my hotel room easier to breath, and kept my skin from getting painfully dry. However I find the blue light WAY to bright and I am looking at ways to dim it.
Love it!
By Judy B., Baltimore, MD in December, 2011
As a frequent business traveler and someone who suffers with sinus issues, I absolutely love this little devise! This is my first week using it and it is wonderful!
Las Vegas
By James B., Aurora, CO in July, 2011
Took this device to Las Vegas, where I have had problems with the dry air in a hotel room. Thing worked great and did not have a nosebleed the whole time.
Useful item
By Junius O., Ocean Springs, MS in June, 2011
I have long been an advocate of humidifier use but they have been enormous and cumbersome when traveling. This product solves that problem well. The other problem common to all humidifiers is difficulty in cleaning. That solution remains and I'm anxious to learn how difficult this product might be to clean.
Travel Humidifier
By Edward R., SC in February, 2011
Works great considering its size. Perfect for an hotel room. I suggest refilling the bottle with purified water vs. tap water; keeps it cleaner.
I bought this for my husband.
By Cathy G., Clinton, IL in January, 2011
He travels and hotel rooms are so dry. It is little and he leaves it in his carry-on. One bottle of water does it for the night if you use the medium setting.
Ideal for Travel and for small rooms
By Rebecca C., CA in January, 2011
My husband tested this before our trip to Europe where we cannot carry around a full size vaporizer. He liked the small size for packing. He said it was effective for him when placed on the nightstand by his bed, but one should not expect it to be effective except in a smaller hotel room.
RV relief
By Mary A., Kermit, TX in January, 2011
This product keeps our RV from not being so dry. That makes our noses happy!
We saw the light!
By Claudia B., East Lansing, MI in January, 2011
This is a very cool little humidifier, it works great, and we plan to take it on all of our travels, but WOW! . . . is it ever bright in the night. The directions state that you need to put it up on at counter or table height, so that's what we did. I guess we like a dark room, because we didn't sleep too well! The unit is very quiet, so it must have been the piercing blue light (it turns red when the water is gone).
Air-O-Swiss Travel Humidifier
By Susan B., Belleville, IL in December, 2010
Easy to pack, easy to use, and so wonderful. Used it for my five night stay in San Antonio. Made sleeping easy, and I awoke without the dry throat and stuffy nose.
perfect for dry climates
By Alan S., Irvine, CA in September, 2010
I just spent a month in Southern Africa during the dry winter months (July/August) and the Air-O-Swiss Travel Humidifier ran almost continuously in my rooms. I found that a 2 liter bottle would last about 24 hours and the two little feet on the bottom kept it steady even when I bumped into the nightstand. On past trips I would wake up with a sore throat, stuffy nose and a cough - NOT on this trip! I could feel the moisture difference when I returned to my room and found that travel companions would hang out in my room saying the air just "felt" good. The only problem I had was to convince house cleaning NOT to open windows and leave them open! The friends and family I stayed with have all put in orders and I expect I will be carrying over a few Air-O- Swiss humidifiers on the next trip.

It's a life saver!
By Mary Ann T., Baton Rouge, LA in June, 2010
Because of respiratory problems, I cannot breathe dry air. In my work, I work in three different buildings. I carry a big briefcase with all my "stuff". This small humidifier is perfect for putting in my briefcase, and it is very light in weight. It works wonders! The air in my three offices is always just right. It was worth every penny. My co-workers all think it is very cute with the little water bottle turned upside down.
Dry Air Solution
By Jay K., Lincoln, NE in March, 2010
I spend over 50% of my time in hotels and particularly in desert climates. I now don't go anywhere without my Air-O-Swiss. I sleep much better, it also acts as a soft noise machine and the light works well as a nightlight in unfamiliar hotel rooms. The only drawback is that a regular sized water bottle will empty in one night if on too high.
Think.... Office! Love it!
By Barb B., Whitehorse, YT in March, 2010
I have been looking for a way to stop the daily static build up "shocks" I was having every day. I thought this looked like it could do the trick and it's wonderful! Because I live in a very dry climate, I go through a water bottle a day and love it! It is absolutely silent and very effective. I can see how the blue light from the clear piece would be great in a hotel as a bonus nightlight. It was packaged extremely smartly and great instructions on how to quickly & easily put it together.
Good travel product
By Andrew S., MD in February, 2010
This portable humidifier is a great idea. It's small, light-weight, and works pretty well. For a small hotel room, it provides plenty of humidification. It's somewhat difficult to insert the water bottle without getting water on the counter or floor, and the blue light emitted by the device can be bothersome if you need complete darkness when you sleep.
Works well but tempermental to start
By Gary L., VA in February, 2010
Easy to set-up and use. BUT have had problems on occasion getting it to start spraying mist. Can see it creating mist, but the fan unit on bottom seems slightly tempermental on starting and blowing mist out the top. Other than this issue, it does put out more than enough mist to help keep a dry hotel room comfortable than without it. Swiss-Air recommends cleaning after 2 wks of use. I'd check it more often, especially using tap water.
Travel essential for dry air and lung concerns
By Lauren S., TX in February, 2010
I took my Air-O-Swiss Travel Humidifier to a business meeting in MT in January. Temps were 31 degrees below zero and the air was so dry sparks were flying from bedding and clothing. During the meeting, the travel humidifier was on the conference table. It worked great and everyone wanted to know where they could purchase one. At night it was on my nightstand in the hotel. The air was so dry, I ran the shower to get lots of moisture in the room then the travel unit finished the job overnight.
Works pretty good...but
By James C., Hyde Park, NY in February, 2010
This is handy item but I found that it only works to prevent you waking up with a dry thought, is to put the mist close to your head. Otherwise the amount of moisture you put in the air is minimal compared to the size of your room. It is quiet and does work..providing you have it near you.
great travel humidifier!
By marisa q., los angeles, CA in February, 2010
love this thing! so easy to use and the humid air is so soothing - even the way it drifts out of the base is so beautiful, it feels like a spa.
I love this humidifier!
By Fern B., Wenatchee, WA in January, 2010
I've had this travel humidifier for over a month now, and use it for home and travel. It's small, quiet, easy to take apart for cleaning. I empty it every morning and let it dry out during the day, then hook it up again at night. It has the coolest blue light when it has enough water. This changes to a red light if the water is down, or I've forgotten to fill it. I would get another one in a heartbeat if I lost this one!
Great helpful product
