Adventure & Travel Utility Jacket

I have not used this for travel - the trip to China is in Sept. - but I love the jacket for shopping! Everything I need, wallet, tissues, etc. fits in the pockets and are safely tucked away. This is definitely worth the money.

This isa light weight jacket.Does not need the drawstring, wrinkels. I was very disappointed, however, to find that after two weeks of wearing, it developed "pills" , where my arms brush. Looks like a very expensive toss away jacket

This is a nice, light weight jacket. I like the styling, and can live with the fact that it wrinkles. I was very disappointed, however, to find that after two weeks of wearing, it developed "pills" along the seams of the sleeves and the side seams of the coat, where your arms brush as you're walking. This can only get worse over time, and is not the quality that I would have expected for the price. In the past, I have been very pleased with my purchases from Magellan's, but this coat is not up to their usually high standard.

Like the traveler jacket weight and pockets and color. However, the draw string is to high above the natural waist line resulting on unflattering lines. Found myself making other jacket choices on this last trip and will look for another jacket on safari trips this fall. The number of pockets in this one is really a plus though.

I should have read the other reviews before ordering this. Fit wasn't good but the main problem is the fabric--far too lightweight. Would provide essentially no weather protection at all. Sent it back. Disappointing from such a good merchant.

Nice jacket idea, but It wrinkles terribly. I folded it, put it in carry on, and it was really wrinkled in tiny fine wrinkles all over.

I travel the world with just a small carryon so any item that does double duty is right up my alley! I was given this as a birthday gift and initially I fell in love with it. I like the idea of jacket to vest, the neutral color is great and it does have tons of pockets. But..... it has some obvious short comings... It's not wind or water resistant; what a shame cause I don't take umbrellas when I travel. What were they thinking? Two of the outside pockets don't have any security closures at all; no velco or snaps or zippers. Trust me a flap isn't going to deter a pick pocket. And their sizes run HUGE!! I've never seen a size small with such large measurements. And this item doesn't come in petite. Sometimes I can get away wearing a regular size vs. petite but since their sizes runs soo large even a size small falls off of me (I'm almost 5'4', 116 lbs). So as excited as I was to receive this jacket/vest, it has too many serious shortcomings to keep, it's going back.
